A short while later Seekvaira returned with her peerage, after that the other peerages of Sona and a young devil that Blaze didn't recognise entered the room, after waiting a while longer it was determind that Zephyrdor was not going to be attending the meeting, whether that was because he had not recovered or that he was too embaressed to show his face was unkown
"I believe that now everyone who is going to be attending has arrived I shall start things off" declared Sairaorg "I am Sairaorg Bael, I have the rank of Great King and am the current next head of the Bael family"
"I am Seekvaira Agares, the next head of the Agares family, rank Archduke" continued Seekvaira
"I am Rias Gremory, the next head of the Gremory family and have the rank of Duke" Rias followed up
"I am Sona Sitri, I also have the rank of Duke and will be the next head of the Sitri family" Sona stated
Finally came the turn of the youth that Blaze didn't recognise, Diodora being absent making sense as his evil deeds had come to light, unlike in the original story made her curious who this person was as it wasn't Latia Astaroth as she had expected
"I am Aremic Astaroth, rank Duke" explained the young devil "I have been chosen as the newest heir to the Astaroth family after my brother was denied the position and was imprisoned due to his actions"
"As he is unable to be here to introduce himself I will perform his introduction for him" Sairorg added "The final member of this meeting is Zephyrdor Glasya-Labolas, he has the rank of Earl and is the current heir to the Glasya-Labolas family after their orginal heir was killed in mysterious circumstances"
With the introductions out of the way the devils conversed amoung themselves, some speaking to each other such as Sona and Rias as friends while Sairaorg and Seekvaira spoke about the current state of the underworld
While waiting Blaze felt a gaze being directed at her, turning to discover it was Aremic who was being told something by one of his servants, an interested look surfacing in his eyes
Believing that it was just due to him being told of her accomplishments Blaze decided to ignore it and just relax as no lust energy was coming from him leading her to ranking him in the middle of her list of men due to him not having left much of an impact on her to improve her opinion of him, but also not having done anything that would decrease her opinion of him
Suddenly the main doors opened and a butler came in "I apologise for the wait, Maou-samas are ready for you now" he proclaimed
After a short walk the peerages were lead to the entrance to a room that all of the devils could tell that contained something incredibly powerful within
"The young lords and ladies have arrived" proclaimed the butler after knocking on the door
"You may enter" commanded a voice from within
Opening the doors revealed a grand hall, the 4 Maous seated at the end with high ranking devils seated on the floors above who were looking down on the peerages as they made their way towards the Maou
The delinquent was already there waiting, seemingly standing with some difficulty along with his queen who was standing a short distance behind him who was having a similar but less difficult time standing
The six leaders seperated from their peerage and stood before the Maou
"Thank you for coming" Sirzechs spoke "the six of you stand before us as the devils that we believe has the greatest abilities amoungst the current young generation, as such it has been decided that we will have you compete against one another in order to bring out your potential even further in order to prepare you for what comes ahead"
"By what comes ahead, do you mean the Khaos Brigade?" asked Sairaorg
"Failure, you have not been given the permission to speak" shouted one of the high ranked elders
In response to this Sirzechs raised a hand for silence "the battles between the six of you are to prepare you for the future, not for what is going on now as we do not wish to lose young talents in battle and so we will be refraining from sending you to battle the Khaos brigade if possible" he explained
"I understand" responded Sairaorg with a bow "but if the underworld is in danger I hope that you will call on me and my peerage so that we may assist in guarding it"
"Your will is admirable and devotion to the underworld demonstrates to us that you will achieve great things and we will remember your words" Sirzechs commented
"Sending off that wasteral to die in battle would be better than letting him run the Bael family" mumbled one of the higher ups, loud enough to be heard by Sairaorg but quite enought that no one was able to properly discern who said it
"Now then" Sirzechs continued "We wish to hear the future goals of the six of you have, such gals will become the driving force behind your future actions and as such we want to know what it is that inspires you to improve yourselves"
"I wish to become a Maou" declared Sairaorg, instantly putting forth his dream
"A member of the Great King family becoming a Maou" gasped one of the higher ups "unbelievable"
"I wish to become a leader of the Gremory family that will not bring shame to my ancestors and to participate in rating games and earn a strong rank through doing so" answered Rias
"A strong desire and firm in nature" nodded a different elder
"I wish to gain power, fame and wealth so that everything that I desire can be mine" Zephyrdor announced
"A strong desire and truely one that suits a devil such as yourself" applauded another elder
"I wish to further my research and achieve my dream of having a power unlike anything that has existed in the underworld before" Seekvaira informed the room
"Aiming for great heights, a fitting dream for someone of the Agares family"
"I wish to continue my documentation of the different powers of every being or creature that I come across" Aremic asserted
"A dream that will benefit the underworld, a good dream to have"
"I wish to build a rating game school that devils of any rank can attend" declared Sona
"A foolish dream" humfed a stern looking elder "lower class devils don't deserve to have the same level of schooling as high class devils, if they do the hierarchy of the underworld would be put into peril" other elders agreeing with his words and other chuckling about how unlikely such a dream was to be achieved
"Don't look down on Kaichou's dream" shouted Saji, unable to hold himself back
"Saji, stand down" ordered Sona
"But kaichou"
"Stand down" she ordered more sternly
"You old fogies better stop making fun of my Sona or I will come looking for you to take my anger out on" declared Serafall, her eyes scanning the room to find which elders had angered her
"Onee-sama" Sona whispered with a blush
"Now that we have heard your wishes we will inform you of the each of your first opponents" Sirzechs proclaimed "it will be Rias vs Sona, Sairaorg vs Zephyrdor and Seekvaira vs Aremic"
"I look forward to my first rating game being against you Rias" Sona stated with a determined smile
"And I am glad that my first proper rating game is against you Sona" Rias replied with equally determined smile.
