Xenovia grabbed Kiba and moved him to a distance "that leg doesn't look good"
"Yeah" Kiba replied "it's definitely broken" he frowned "although I can fly I'm nowhere near as fast flying as I am running, looks like I won't be able to be much help this fight"
"That's not necessarily true" Akeno interjected from the side as she launched flaming birds and summoned bolts of lightning to attack the beast "remember the ability that we found out about while we were practicing together"
Descending into thought for a second Kiba replied "yeah, that could work, but we'll only get one chance"
"Then start setting things up" Akeno said "I'll inform Rias of our plans, Xenovia I'll be relying on you to act as his bodyguard in the meantime, plus with you we could make our attack even more powerful"
"Understood" Xenovia nodded "alright Kiba, lets go, just tell me what I need to do" carrying Kiba away
Meanwhile, Caspera had grabbed Koneko who was sweating hard and holding her arm, seemingly in quite a bit of pain
"Koneko, how are you feeling?" Caspera asked as she moved Koneko behind one of the labyrinths walls
"Not good" Koneko groaned "although it was a small cut it seems like that creature is made up of quite a few venomous creatures, although using my ki I can stop the poison from spreading it is causing me a considerable amount of pain, meaning I am unable to focus on anything except for using my ki to stop the poison from spreading" wincing in pain as the poison tried to spread
"Leave it to me, as a dhampir I know quite a bit about blood and if I am careful I should be able to suck only the poison out with my fangs" Caspera explained
Focusing on Koneko's arm as Caspera's eyes took on a sharper look to them, making it so that she was able to see the tiny blood vessels and even tell the difference between the poison and the blood cells in Koneko's arm "and using my forbidden balor view I can stop the blood in your arm flowing to make sure that I only get the poison out, and if I split off a small portion of myself to become a bat even if I get infected by the poison it won't spread through me, but it will mean that I will need to recover afterwards, but lets hope that that doesn't happen"
As Caspera got to work she heard the battle getting even more intense in the main room, with Rias boosting Blaze and Blaze being the only one who could fight up close and personal, due to her being naturally resistant to poison due to her strong physique and Herm's natural goddess aura that made it so that even if she did get poisoned, her duality trait making it so that when she got poisoned her body automatically created the antidote for the poison
"This thing isn't going down at all" Blaze complained as she struck a serpent that was trying to bite her, destroying the head only for it to regenerate moments later "it seems to have way to many different species that can regenerate or have a large amount of life force"
"Try to take advantage of all of the species" Rias suggested "I can see a wide variety of scales on the monsters body, and if I'm right I would think that Varyn would most likely use some dragon DNA to give the chimera strength, but if you use Ascalon you should be able to do additional damage"
"Right, I didn't think of that" Blaze realized, equipping Ascalon as gauntlets before striking again, the additional power that came from wearing the gauntlets, the holy attribute dealing extra damage due to Aremic who was the origin of the chimera being a devil and the dragon slayer attribute dealing even more damage to the beast, causing Blaze to be able to destroy parts of the body with greater ease "it's working, but it's still not enough" she frowned
"Just keep it up, we have to keep fighting" Rias replied, the strain of using the full moon to boost Blaze starting to show
"Rias" Akeno called out as she flew over
"What is it Akeno?" Rias questioned as Akeno landed beside her, firing bolts of lightning and summoning birds of fire to attack the beast from different angles to distract it
"Kiba and I have a plan, we need you to keep the beast distracted for a while while we prepare, once we're ready I send you a signal by striking the ground with a fireball and I need you two to move the chimera to the spot where I scorched the floor, we'll only get one shot at this as what we have planned will use up all of my magic meaning that we have to hit it no matter what" Akeno explained
"Got it" Rias nodded "did you hear that Blaze?"
"Yeah, so keep doing what I'm doing and then draw it over to the target once you're ready" Blaze responded "just try to hurry up, I don't know how long I can keep fighting this thing and I can tell that Rias is starting to struggle too"
"Ok, just keep fighting and look forward to what we have planned" Akeno smiled as she flew off
"Looks like it's up to us" Rias called over to Blaze
"Sure does" Blaze sighed as she decided to stop holding back and activated her magic to enhance her power even further "lets make sure we keep this monsters attention for long enough for Akeno to put her plan into action" pushing herself harder to fight against the beast, hoping that whatever Akeno was cooking up would be the thing that they needed to take this beast down.
