Chapter 2 - Black Tiger Clan

And it seems he wasn't the only one who hadn't forgotten that incident. His opponent, whose head now hung in the middle of his hut, hadn't forgotten either.

The man named Coa Kun Tian was the son of the leader of the Black Tiger Clan, a renowned clan throughout the Yellow River valley. The son of the Black Tiger Clan leader was a highly educated, handsome, and dashing young man who was the pride of the Black Tiger Clan, which was indeed composed of dashing men.

Unfortunately, Coa Kun Tian's handsome face and dashing demeanor were stained by his philandering and lecherous nature. He easily fell for beautiful women, and once attracted, he loss of emotional control and tried his best to seduce them, regardless of whether they were already taken or not. And usually, because he is dashing and handsome then his seductions rarely fail. Rarely there are a women who are able to resist his advances.

As well as Phang Hui Cu, the wife of the tall man who was in the hut, she fell in the face of Coa Kun Tian's seduction and good looks thus passionately serving the man's desires and they committed adultery in Hui Cu's house and husband's room.

After Coa Kun Tian died, the Black Tiger Clan was stirred up. Especially after hearing that the leader's son died at the hands of Liu Bhok Ki, a warrior who became Coa Kun Tian's good friend, even a person who respected by Black Tiger Clan. They won't just remain silent. Coa Liong, won't let his brother be killed without revenge. He then looked for Liu Bhok Ki, the warrior who had become his best friend and his brother's best friend. A fierce fight ensued, and ultimately, Black Tiger Clan's men were forced to bring their leader's body home, filled with grief.

Liu Bhok Ki himself was devastated by the events that befell his family. His heart was shattered, his happiness vanished, and he lived like a half-madman, isolating himself on Devil's Hill in the most remote part of the Yellow River Valley. Here, he built a hut and lived there with two heads. One was the head of Coa Kun Tian, which he had soaked in a potion that prevented it from decaying. It was now dry like wood, and he hung it in the center of the hut. The second was the head of his beautiful wife, Phang Hui Cu, which he had soaked in a large jar of wine. These two heads always accompanied him in that secluded hut.

For over twenty years, Black Tiger Clan's men had never stopped seeking revenge. Dozens of times, almost every year, someone from Black Tiger Clan has sought out Liu Bhok Ki for revenge. However, none have succeeded. On the contrary, someone from Black Tiger Clan has fallen and died. Therefore, Black Tiger Clan's grudge against Liu Bhok Ki has grown deeper and deeper. This actually made Liu Bhok Ki sad. However, what can be said, the situation is already like that. He couldn't retreat, and he was always ready to defend himself when an attack from Black Tiger Clan arrived.

Even that morning, while he was eating, a sneak attack came in the form of a small dart that he managed to catch with his chopsticks. The way he handled this sneak attack with the dart alone demonstrated how skilled this tall, middle-aged man was. Indeed, since childhood, he had loved studying martial arts and had once been renowned as a warrior who constantly fought criminals along the Yellow River. However, since that tragic event, in which he was forced to kill his beloved wife and best friend, he disappeared from the martial arts world, and he isolated himself in his hut. Only occasionally would he go to the nearest village to buy daily necessities, which he exchanged with his farming or fishing in the Yellow River near his hut.

This incident truly devastated his life. He felt as if he were dead, constantly threatened by the Black Tiger Clan. Knowing that his enemies would never stop seeking revenge, he did not remain silent. Every day, when not working, Liu Bhok Ki trained himself, deepening his knowledge. With his talent and ingenuity, he even created several powerful martial arts. Now, at nearly fifty years old, he possesses a profound knowledge, and few can match it. Liu Bhok Ki no longer "talks" to the face of the woman's head in the bottle, but instead sits pensively, gazing at the small dart he had caught with his chopsticks and placed on the table in front of him.

This dart was small and very light, but sharp and contained a very dangerous poison, recognizable by its fishy odor, like that of a snake. Judging by the small size, light shape, and especially the red garlands, Liu Bhok Ki could guess that it was wielded by a woman. His brows furrowed. In over twenty years, Black Tiger Clan had never sent a female disciple to try to kill him.

An itch on his right hand made him suddenly jump in surprise, and he quickly examined his hand. His eyes widened to see black marks on two of his fingers, on the surface of his index finger and middle finger.

"Ahhh..." he exclaimed softly, quickly picking up a bundle hanging on the weapon rack.

"What a fool, looking down on his opponent!" he muttered, unwrapping the package and pulling out a yellow packet. He opened the packet and sprinkled a little red powder on the black spots on both fingers. He rubbed it in, and the spots disappeared, and the itching disappeared.

The red powder was a powerful remedy against poison. It seemed the attacker with the dart had deliberately thrown the dart slowly so he could easily catch it with his hands or chopsticks. Although he caught it with chopsticks, it seemed some of the powder or poisonous air from the dart had gotten onto his fingers, as if the poison had traveled through the chopsticks, affecting two of his fingers. If not treated quickly, it would be extremely dangerous for him, possibly leading to his death! He now knew that the dart thrower was a formidable opponent who should not be taken lightly!

At that moment, dozens of people appeared at the door cottage. They were on average forty years old, accompanied a young man who was approximately twenty years old. This young man has a handsome face and looks great the young man's face, Liu Bhok Ki felt his heart pounding tense.

That face! Exactly the face of the man who had seduced and cheating on his wife. Exactly the face of Coa Kun Tian whose head is now hanging in the middle of the hut. That young man now stood looking at the hanging dry head, head that sways and rotates. When that head facing out at him, the young man suddenly dropped kneel down.

"Father...!" And he knelt down to pay respects eight times towards the hanging head. Since then Liu Bhok Ki had risen to his feet and he was staring dumbly to the young man. Coa Kun Tian's son? I don't think so Possible! Didn't Kun Tian commit adultery with his wife isn't married yet? He was well aware of this because he was close friends with Kun Tian and knew the Black Tiger Clan leader's family well.

How could a young man now appear who called the late Coa Kun Tian as his father? But if not his son, then who was he and why was he claiming to be his son? And that face! He wouldn't doubt that it was Kun Tian's face, and he could believe that this young man was indeed the son of his former friend whom he had killed.
