Chapter 45 - CHAPTER 45 – A WILD NIGHT AROUND HIM

The VIP lounge was alive, every inch vibrating with music and laughter. The neon lights flashed across polished faces, highlighting glimmering dresses and dark suits.

Azrael's cousin leaned back on the velvet couch, drink in hand, eyes scanning the room with a predatory amusement. Around him, his business partners laughed, glasses raised high, and clinked champagne flutes in an almost ritualistic display of excess.

Women in sequined dresses, tight bodysuits, and sparkling skirts moved through the crowd, hips swaying with every beat. Their hair bounced with the music, lips glossed and smiling, perfume thick and intoxicating.

Some leaned close to the men, whispering, brushing against their arms or shoulders. Others danced atop low platforms, legs long and exposed, bodies glinting under the club's colored lights.

"Come on Macaus, ," one of the partners said, nodding toward the bar.

"Another round. Let's make this a night to remember."

Macaus grinned, tracing the curve of a woman's hip as she leaned against him, whispering something that made him chuckle. The woman's dress rode up slightly, revealing the smooth line of her thigh, and he let his hand linger, appreciative without restraint.

On the other side of the lounge, another partner twirled a woman in a glittering mini-dress across the floor, her high heels clicking against the polished tiles. Laughter rang out as she spun, skirts flaring, hair catching the neon lights, the air around them vibrating with energy. Drinks in hand, others joined in, clinking glasses, teasing each other, raising voices over the pounding bass.

His cousin, a mischievous glint in his eye, had two women on either side of him. One brushed her fingers lightly along his chest as she leaned forward to laugh at something he said; the other rested a hand on his thigh, tracing patterns with manicured nails as she whispered jokes into his ear. He leaned back casually, eyes half-closed, savoring the attention, every movement calculated but indulgent.

A server appeared with a tray of champagne, golden bubbles sparkling in the low lights. Hands reached eagerly, grabbing flutes, laughing, spilling tiny droplets onto the plush couch as people toasted, leaned into each other, and danced lightly in the confined space.

The music swelled. The bass vibrated through the floorboards, syncing with the hearts of the people around him. Some danced on tables, skirts rising, hair flying; others swayed against the backs of couches, bodies pressed together, drinks forgotten in hands as laughter took over.

Azrael's cousin raised his glass again, turning toward the group, voice booming above the music. "To a night we'll never forget!"

Glasses clinked in response. Hands brushed against legs, backs, and arms; wine and champagne flowed freely, spilling occasionally, unbothered. The room was alive, reckless in its indulgence.

Women moved among them, teasing, laughing, hips pressing lightly, hair brushing over exposed shoulders. The glittering dresses revealed more than they hid the high slits, plunging necklines, bare midriffs all part of the intoxicating spectacle.

The business partners reveled in it, clinking glasses, dancing closely, pulling women into their laps or leaning over couches to whisper. Laughter, cheers, and the music created a constant, pulsating rhythm.

Some men danced with abandon, half-dressed women twirling against them, the fabric of their dresses tight against their curves, breasts brushing, thighs rubbing, subtle touches electrifying the air. Others lounged back, drinks in hand, eyes scanning, enjoying the chaos, trading jokes, leaning casually into the wildness surrounding them.

The VIP section became its own world: music, lights, wine, bodies pressed together, laughter echoing off the walls, and energy that refused to die down.

No one noticed Azrael. He remained at the edge of this chaos, wine untouched in hand, calm and composed, surveying the excess with detached precision while the others indulged themselves fully in the reckless night around him.
