"All she had was one glass!" Liam defended using the mind link the moment I came inside.
Even though I came back before the Luna gathering, I had stayed with the tech team.
They worked from the Pack because here was the most protected place in the entire Eastern Region.
Luckily, just as we expected, Lucy had left some trail the moment she left here.
But who would have expected that my partner in crime had gotten drunk?
Her eyes were watery and gleaming brightly as she walked towards me.
It was probably the alcohol because she looked excited to see me.
Once I got close to her, Rena cupped my face within her palms.
"I just knew it had to be you. You are the only one who is impossible to shake."
Her words made no sense, but I took them as a drunken slur.
Without dragging things out, I lifted her princess style and took her upstairs. I would come back to deal with those two for pulling out a forty percent bottle.
