The courtyard of U.A. High School had never been more chaotic.
Students were sprawled across the grass after falling out of the bushes. Villains stood awkwardly nearby. One extremely tired teacher watched everything with the expression of a man questioning every life decision he had ever made.
Ren slowly sat up from the grass.
"…I hate all of you."
Behind him, Himiko Toga giggled happily.
"This is the best day ever!"
Across the courtyard, Tomura Shigaraki scratched his neck impatiently.
"Can we leave already?"
Leaning lazily against a tree, Dabi smirked.
"I dunno. Watching this kid panic is pretty entertaining."
Beside him, Kurogiri stood calmly, hands folded behind his back.
"A rather unusual social gathering."
Nearby, Izuku Midoriya was whispering frantically while scribbling notes.
"This is unbelievable! Live villain interaction with no immediate violence—"
Katsuki Bakugo snapped.
"NERD, STOP WRITING AND LET ME BLOW THEM UP!"
Eijiro Kirishima grabbed him.
"BRO THAT WOULD START A WAR!"
Denki Kaminari whispered loudly.
"THIS IS THE WEIRDEST DAY OF MY LIFE!"
Meanwhile, leaning against the wall with his scarf loosely wrapped around his neck was Shota Aizawa.
He sighed.
"…Ren."
Ren slowly looked at him.
"Yes?"
"…Fix this."
Ren blinked.
"How."
Aizawa's eyes narrowed.
"Figure it out."
Ren rubbed his temples.
"Okay… okay… everyone just calm down—"
Suddenly—
Toga grabbed his arm.
"Renny Penny, wanna hang out again later?!"
Ren panicked.
"NOT HELPING!"
The stress hit him all at once.
Too many people.
Too many villains.
Too many classmates watching him like he was in a reality show.
And when Ren panicked…
His powers acted up.
The air around him began to bend.
A strange ripple of light flickered around his body.
Blue.
Red.
White.
Green.
Aizawa's eyes widened slightly.
"…Ren."
But it was too late.
FWOOOOM
Space twisted.
The entire courtyard exploded into a burst of light.
Somewhere Else
Wind howled.
Dust blew across cracked pavement.
Everyone landed in a messy pile.
Kirishima groaned.
"Oww…"
Kaminari blinked.
"Where… are we?"
Ren slowly sat up.
"…Oh no."
They were standing in the middle of a random city street.
Cars parked nearby.
Storefronts lining the road.
A couple pedestrians stared in complete shock at the sudden appearance of students and villains falling from thin air.
Bakugo jumped to his feet immediately.
"WHAT DID YOU DO?!"
Ren panicked.
"I DIDN'T MEAN TO!"
Toga clapped happily.
"YOU TELEPORTED EVERYONE!"
Dabi laughed.
"Kid just kidnapped half the hero class."
Shigaraki groaned.
"This is annoying."
Kurogiri adjusted his posture calmly.
"Fascinating quirk instability."
Aizawa stood up slowly, dusting off his clothes.
He looked directly at Ren.
"…You teleported twenty people."
Ren stared at the ground.
"…Oops."
Back at U.A.
Inside the office of Nezu…
The principal sat comfortably in his chair.
Several large security monitors displayed the courtyard from different angles.
On one screen, the group suddenly vanished in a flash of light.
Nezu blinked once.
Then slowly reached into a drawer.
He pulled out a bowl of popcorn.
He pressed a button on the desk.
Another monitor turned on.
Satellite tracking.
It showed a blinking signal… moving across the city.
Nezu leaned back in his chair happily.
"Ah."
He tossed a piece of popcorn into his mouth.
"This will be interesting."
Another flash appeared on the screen.
The signal jumped locations again.
Nezu smiled wider.
"Oh my."
Another handful of popcorn.
"This child is chaos incarnate."
He watched the blinking signals bounce across the map like a pinball machine.
City.
Park.
Rooftop.
Back alley.
Parking lot.
Nezu giggled quietly.
"Marvelous."
Back With Ren
Another teleport.
FWOOOM
Everyone suddenly appeared on top of a tall building.
Wind whipped through their hair.
Kaminari screamed.
"WHY ARE WE ON A ROOF?!"
Ren grabbed his head.
"I CAN'T CONTROL IT!"
Toga was having the time of her life.
"This is like a roller coaster!"
Bakugo growled.
"IF WE DIE I'M KILLING YOU."
Dabi chuckled.
"I kinda like the kid."
Shigaraki muttered.
"I hate all of this."
Aizawa grabbed Ren by the collar.
"Focus."
Ren panicked.
"I'M TRYING!"
The energy around him flickered again.
Another burst of light began forming.
Aizawa sighed.
"…Here we go."
FWOOOOM
The entire group vanished again.
Back in Nezu's Office
Nezu was now fully invested.
Popcorn bowl half empty.
The map showed their signal jumping again.
He scribbled notes excitedly.
"Teleportation radius… impressive."
Another blink.
"Emotional trigger confirmed."
Another teleport.
"Spatial instability fascinating."
Nezu leaned back happily.
"I do love unpredictable students."
He popped another piece of popcorn into his mouth.
Meanwhile… Somewhere Random
The group reappeared in the middle of a huge park fountain.
Water splashed everywhere.
Everyone fell into the pool.
Kirishima sputtered.
"BRO!"
Kaminari screamed.
"MY PHONE!"
Toga splashed happily.
"This is fun!"
Ren sat in the water, soaked and exhausted.
"…I want to go home."
Aizawa stared at him.
"…Then learn control."
Ren groaned.
"I'm trying!"
The teleportation energy began flickering again.
Everyone looked at him.
Bakugo pointed.
"IF THIS SENDS US INTO SPACE—"
FLASH
They vanished again.
Nezu leaned forward at his monitor.
"Oh?"
He smiled widely.
"I wonder where they'll land next."
