Morning came way too fast.
Sunlight leaked through my window.
Birds were chirping.
And I woke up to the weirdest sight imaginable.
On the floor near my desk sat Tomura Shigaraki, scratching at a video game controller like he was trying to figure out how it worked.
Leaning against the wall with his arms crossed was Dabi, staring at one of my anime posters.
And standing politely near the door was Kurogiri, looking like he hadn't moved all night.
I blinked slowly.
"…Right."
This was still real.
I sat up in bed.
"You guys are still here."
Dabi looked over.
"Unfortunately."
Shigaraki didn't even look away from the controller.
"…How do you run in this game?"
"That's the joystick."
He moved it.
The character ran directly into a wall.
"…This game is stupid."
Then Shigaraki suddenly paused.
He looked up.
"…Wait."
He pointed toward the window.
Students were walking across campus.
"…Why are there so many kids outside already?"
I stretched.
"…Because it's Monday."
The room went quiet.
Dabi tilted his head.
"…School day?"
I nodded.
"Yep."
Shigaraki blinked.
"…You're going to class."
"Correct."
Then Dabi remembered something.
"…You said we could stay here."
"Also correct."
Shigaraki slowly stood up.
"…So what happens now?"
I shrugged and grabbed my uniform jacket.
"Eh, your words not mine!"
Silence.
Dabi stared at me.
"…What does that mean."
I pointed at the door.
"You're going to class."
Hallway Chaos
Five minutes later we stepped into the dorm hallway.
Behind me were three members of the League of Villains walking through U.A. High School like it was a normal Monday.
This was not normal.
Students immediately noticed.
One student dropped their backpack.
Another student slowly turned around and walked the other direction.
Then we reached the common room.
Denki looked up from the couch.
His brain stopped working.
"…What."
Kirishima slowly stood up.
"…BRO."
Mina gasped.
"You actually brought them!"
I grabbed my bag.
"They're staying in my room."
Denki pointed wildly.
"THE VILLAINS ARE GOING TO SCHOOL WITH US?!"
Dabi shrugged.
"Apparently."
Kurogiri folded his hands politely.
"A temporary educational visit."
Shigaraki looked annoyed.
"I hate this already."
Class 1-A
The moment we walked into Class 1-A, the entire room froze.
Everyone.
Completely still.
At the front of the room stood Shota Aizawa.
Sleeping in his chair.
He opened one eye.
Looked at us.
Closed it again.
"…Of course."
Midoriya stood up so fast his chair fell over.
Izuku Midoriya immediately pulled out his notebook.
"THIS IS INCREDIBLE!"
He started muttering.
"Direct observation of League members inside a controlled hero training environment—"
Dabi leaned away from him.
"…This kid is weird."
Shigaraki sat down in the empty desk next to me.
"I'm not taking notes."
Kurogiri politely stood near the back wall.
Mina leaned toward me.
"Ren."
"…Yeah?"
"This is the craziest Monday ever."
Kirishima pumped his fist.
"IT'S MANLY!"
Denki pointed again.
"WHY ARE THEY ACTUALLY SITTING IN DESKS?!"
Aizawa finally stood up.
He walked to the front of the classroom.
Then pointed at the villains.
"Guests."
Everyone waited.
Aizawa continued.
"Temporary."
Then he looked at me.
"…Ren."
"…Yes?"
"If this gets worse…"
He paused.
"…it's your problem."
Fair.
First Class
The bell rang.
And somehow…
Class actually started.
Shigaraki leaned back in his chair.
"This is boring."
Dabi looked out the window.
"So this is what heroes learn."
Kurogiri watched politely.
Midoriya filled pages of notes.
Denki kept whispering.
"I can't believe this is happening."
I rested my head on the desk.
"…I just wanted to play cards."
Behind me, Kirishima whispered:
"BRO THIS IS LEGENDARY."
And somewhere across campus…
A very familiar voice shouted again.
"RENNNN!"
Everyone in the classroom froze.
Dabi sighed.
"…She found the school."
