"Enough, enough!"
Candy kicked Fortune away and handed Ryou a scroll.
Ryou took it and opened it; it contained Madara's insights on cultivating the Sharingan, along with some accompanying Sharingan Genjutsu.
Ryou's use of the Sharingan was quite shallow; the Genjutsu of the Uchiha three tomoe Sharingan was a powerful Kekkei Genkai that could make even a Jonin hesitate.
After all, Kakashi had earned the fame of "Kakashi of the Sharingan" with just a single Sharingan.
The Uchiha of Konoha had always been suppressed by the higher-ups; if their power ever fully erupted, it would leave everyone stunned.
Candy said, "This is all thanks to Fried Rice. The inari sushi Fried Rice made is the Ancestor's favorite. In his happiness, the Ancestor asked Fried Rice if it had a wish."
"Fried Rice said it wanted to help you, so the Ancestor gave you the Sharingan cultivation scroll."
Ryou picked up Fried Rice and gave it a big kiss.
"Fried Rice, it seems raising you wasn't in vain. Tonight, you'll sleep with me."
"As for Fish Ball and Fortune, beat them! Beat them until they're smoking!"
Candy and Snowy immediately began punching and kicking Fish Ball.
"Ryou, no, Master, we were wrong! We were wrong!"
"Hmph!"
Ryou lectured Fish Ball and Fortune: "Old Demon Madara likes petting cats, it's true, but don't think you can shit on my head because of it."
"As long as I'm around, I'll be your strictest father."
Fish Ball and Fortune rubbed against Ryou's calves vigorously, begging for forgiveness.
Candy reminded Ryou, who was showing off in front of the two idiots, "Ryou, stop playing around. The Ancestor is already urging you to go on your mission."
Ryou felt helpless; even though he had reached a level beyond most Jonin, he was still just an errand boy at someone's beck and call.
Wage slaves have no human rights!
Ryou set down Fried Rice. "Fried Rice, I'll pick you another day. I'm heading to the Land of Rain."
"After I leave, you guys keep an eye on Tsunade. Don't let her escape."
Candy nodded.
Ryou then took out his two Ninja tools, the Gunbai and the Kama.
Madara hadn't mentioned these two Ninja tools before. Ryou figured Madara no longer cared for them and had tacitly given them to him.
Ryou couldn't carry the Gunbai and the Kama with him all the time. He had a plan: let his Summoned Beasts keep them.
If he wanted to use them, he would just summon them.
As soon as the Gunbai was taken out, the cats were shocked because they recognized it.
"This is the Uchiha Clan's divine tool, the Gunbai!"
"The Gunbai, rumored to be able to reflect all Ninjutsu, vanished along with the Ancestor. Ryou, how do you have it?"
Ryou explained the origin of the Gunbai, and only then did the cats realize Madara had given it to him.
Ryou glanced at his Cloud-Quintet.
Fish Ball could use Water Release; its Water Release was a mimetic attack like tiny piranhas, with the attack power of a mosquito bite. Normally, Ryou just had it do the laundry.
Fried Rice could use Fire Release, but all its skill points were spent on cooking.
Fortune could use Wind Release; its only use was blowing a breeze for Ryou in the summer.
These three cats were useless in battle.
Only Candy and Snowy were useful.
Candy could use Lightning Release and was the weapon master of Sora-ku. It usually made Ninja tools and sealing scrolls for the Uchiha Clan.
It was proficient in Ninja tool manipulation and scroll sealing, making it suitable for long-range combat.
Ryou gave the Gunbai to Candy. "Candy, you keep the Gunbai. You should know how to use it."
Candy happily took the Gunbai. As a Ninja Cat who crafted weapons, it had long admired this famous divine tool of the Uchiha Clan.
One must know that during the Sengoku period, only the Uchiha Clan Leader was qualified to keep the Gunbai.
Ryou handed the Kama to Snowy. Snowy was a dragon-li cat who could use Earth Release; it was combative and had a fierce temperament.
When it first went to Sora-ku, it fought with the Ninja Cat Nekomata for the top spot, refusing to submit to anyone!
"Snowy, although the Kama isn't as good as the Gunbai, it's exceptionally hard, made of the same material as the Kusanagi Sword. I'm entrusting it to you."
Snowy swung the Kama, very satisfied with the weapon.
Ryou then comforted the three Ninja Cats who didn't get any Ninja tools.
"Fish Ball, Fortune, Fried Rice, don't be sad. Next time I go to the Hidden Cloud Village, I'll snatch back their Six Paths Ninja Tools."
"Then you'll each have two."
Fried Rice shouted, "I want the Bashosen to fan the flames!"
Ryou patted Fried Rice's head. "Alright, alright, I'll snatch it for you then."
Fish Ball also shouted, "I don't want the Hidden Cloud's divine tools. I want the Great Sword Samehada. I heard it's a fish, and I want to eat it."
Ryou agreed.
Fortune said, "Ryou, I don't want those weapons. Can I have money instead? Just give me a hundred million Ryo to send me on my way."
Ryou squeezed Fortune's head and said with frustration, "Money, money, money. It's money all day long. You useless thing."
"By the way, Old Demon Madara hasn't given me any funds for this mission yet!"
Ryou directly picked up Fortune and stripped it of everything valuable.
Big gold necklaces, silver watches, gold rings—all were confiscated.
Fortune wailed miserably, "Ryou, you bastard! This is my entire life savings!"
Before long, Ryou had stripped Fortune clean.
"Alright, everything that needed to be said has been said. I should leave."
Just as Ryou was about to leave, a shadow suddenly appeared on his shoulder.
A cat, a Ninja Cat, a Ninja Cat of the Uchiha Clan, an executive of Sora-ku, and one of the two guardians of the Ninja Cat leader, Nekomata.
"Hina!"
The cats recognized the Ninja Cat that had suddenly appeared on Ryou's shoulder.
Hina was a Ninja Cat that had appeared in the TV anime. She was very greedy; if you went to see her empty-handed, she would give you a sour look.
Hina looked at Candy and the others and huffed, "Nekomata-sama was furious that Fried Rice didn't cook for him. He urged me to come and bring you back."
The Ninja Cat Nekomata was the boss of Sora-ku's Ninja Cats and Cat Granny's summon, a giant two-tailed white cat.
Although also named Nekomata, it was different from the Two-Tails; the Ninja Cat Nekomata was just a Ninja Cat.
Candy stared at Hina. "Hina, I suspect it's not just Nekomata-sama's urging, is it?"
Hina nodded, then turned to look at Ryou. "There's also an inquiry from the Uchiha Clan."
"Ryou, I didn't expect you to still be alive. To be able to deceive the Sannin is truly impressive."
Ryou said somewhat impatiently, "Hina, if you have something to say, say it. I'm heading out on a mission."
Hina said, "Fine, I'll make it brief. The Uchiha people want to confirm through your Summoned Beasts whether you're actually dead or not."
Ryou laughed. "What? Are they happy I'm not dead?"
Hina shook her head. "I don't know about that. They're being mysteriously targeted by the Konoha higher-ups and want to investigate the ins and outs of the matter through you."
Ryou smiled. "Good, it's good that they're being targeted by Konoha."
"Hina, just pass word to the Uchiha Clan: I, Ryou, am alive and well, and furthermore, I have resurrected Uchiha Madara."
"We, the ghosts of the Uchiha, will take our revenge on the entire shinobi world."
"Uchiha Madara?!"
Hina's pupils suddenly constricted.
Ryou ignored Hina and immediately activated the Mayfly Technique to dive into the earth, moving toward the Land of Rain.
