Uchiha Ryou obtained the Chimera Technique and the Creation Regeneration Technique from Konoha. He defected from Konoha and prepared to abandon his mission and leave, but was blocked by Orochimaru at the Kannabi Bridge. When he was at his wit's end, he was saved by Madara Uchiha. Ryou replaced Obito and helped Madara recover to his peak, thus advancing the Eye of the Moon Plan.
