Chapter 237 - MCA Chapter 236: Edo Tensei Might Duy

Kakashi's three-man team quickly arrived.

Kakashi asked, "Minato-sensei, have enemies invaded?"

Minato shook his head, "No, perhaps I was mistaken."

"By the way, Kakashi, have you encountered anything strange recently?"

Kakashi rubbed his head, "There is one thing. When I read, I always feel a chill down my spine, as if a ghost is watching me."

"The next morning, all my books were gone."

Minato asked, "Kakashi, what kind of books were you reading?"

Kakashi's face was covered by his mask, so he didn't blush when he lied, "They were all books about Shinobi rules."

Obito didn't give Kakashi any face, "Minato-sensei, I'm reporting him. Kakashi was reading the little yellow books Ebisu gave him."

"Kakashi!"

Minato became stern.

After Sakumo's death, Kakashi became an orphan. Minato was both Kakashi's teacher and his superior.

Kakashi's guardians could be said to be Minato and Kushina.

The same went for Obito and Rin.

Kakashi quickly blamed Jiraiya, "Minato-sensei, Lord Jiraiya told me to read them. He said reading those books could help me overcome my psychological reclusion."

Minato rubbed his head, feeling a bit helpless. Minato couldn't tell if Kakashi was telling the truth.

But with Jiraiya's personality, he really might instigate Kakashi to use yellow to drive away gray.

He was just that kind of person.

Minato originally thought Jiraiya would fall into prolonged depression because Tsunade was taken by Ryou, but Jiraiya quickly adjusted.

How did he adjust?

By writing adult novels, and even NTR novels. He wrote Ryou as a blonde who taken advantage of Tsunade, and he seemed to enjoy being the cuckold.

Kakashi then bit back at Obito, "Minato-sensei, Obito also read them. Obito was scrambling to read the NTR novels Lord Jiraiya has been writing recently."

Obito barked at Kakashi, "Kakashi, don't slander me! I absolutely didn't read them! You just want to drag me down with you."

"Rin, you must not believe Kakashi. I am very pure."

Rin looked at Obito, then at Kakashi, and suddenly felt a little inferior.

Kakashi wasn't asexual; it was just that she wasn't sexy enough.

Kakashi liked the 'sassy' type.

Minato helplessly punished Kakashi and Obito by making them stand.

"Kakashi, Obito, you two are Jonin now. Stop doing such childish things!"

"I know it's fine, but if Kushina finds out—"

Kakashi and Obito both shivered, already imagining Kushina turning into the Red Hot-Blooded Habanero, full of oppressive presence.

They were scared to tears!

"Minato-sensei, I won't dare again. From now on, I will be an upright Shinobi."

Seeing Kakashi and Obito make their promises, Minato finally felt relieved.

"Alright, Kakashi, Obito, I need to go to Mount Myōboku to train in Senjutsu."

Obito looked lost, as if he had lost his backbone, "Minato-sensei, what will we do without you?"

Minato patted Obito's head, "Don't worry, I'm going to cooperate with Sage Fukasaku and Shima for Senjutsu this time. It won't take long."

"I expect to be back before the Five Kage Summit."

Obito and the others finally relaxed.

Although Minato had no advantage against Madara, they were more like stray dogs that could be kicked to death at will.

If someone like the Third Hokage encountered Madara, the entire Village would probably be attending a funeral right now.

Those of them who escaped from Madara's hands back then all relied on Minato's Flying Thunder God Technique.

In Konoha, Minato was the most reliable.

Kakashi then asked about the ghost incident from before; he felt there was a ghost around him.

Minato comforted him, "Kakashi, don't worry. Even if it's a ghost, it won't be a vengeful spirit. It might be your relative."

Obito guessed wildly, "It might be Lord White Fang. He saw you reading little yellow books, Kakashi, and got so angry he jumped out of his grave."

"Obito, stop talking nonsense!"

Minato smiled, then glanced into the distance, as if, in some unseen way, he met the eyes of Sakumo hiding in the shadows.

Minato didn't make a fuss; this wasn't some strange occurrence.

Presumably, the higher-ups of the Village had already sensed it.

The reason they didn't make a fuss was that such matters were against ethics and taboo for the living.

But it had to be done.

Because people always have to face reality.

It was unlikely that the Five Great Shinobi Villages combined could defeat Madara, who possessed the Rinnegan and Wood Release.

Some things, even if known to be wrong, must be done.

It is believed that "they" would also be willing to participate in the war to protect the future of the Shinobi!

"Alright, I should leave now! Tell Kushina for me!"

"Yes!"

The next second, with a 'poof', Minato was reverse-summoned to Mount Myōboku by Shima.

"Minato, you're already so outstanding!"

Sakumo, hiding in the shadows, watched Minato's disappearing figure with some emotion. He had only wanted to glimpse Kakashi from afar, but Minato had discovered him.

A figure beside Sakumo also agreed.

"Indeed! Seeing these young people so vibrant and carefree, my cold body also feels like it's burning."

Beside Sakumo was a thick-browed middle-aged man with a dense handlebar mustache.

He wore a dark green jumpsuit, much like a middle-aged Guy.

This person was Guy's father — Might Duy.

The eternal Genin who, during the Third Great Shinobi War, activated the Eight Gates Formation and beat the Seven Shinobi Swordsmen of the Mist into a pulp.

Orochimaru extracted Duy's cells from when he was alive, cultivated organ tissues, and reincarnated him through the Impure World Reincarnation.

Sakumo smiled at Duy, "Duy, this time we can fight side by side."

Duy rubbed his head, a little embarrassed, "Lord White Fang, I'm just an eternal Genin. How can I be compared to you?"

Sakumo laughed, "Duy, don't be modest. I always believed you were a powerful Shinobi."

Duy sighed, "But I can't be an enemy of Lord Ryou!"

Even now, Duy still didn't believe Ryou would defect.

Ryou helped Duy a lot, a great deal.

Because he cultivated the Eight Gates without regard for his body in the first half of his life, Duy had many hidden injuries. On rainy nights, the pain was so bad he couldn't sleep well.

He was a Genin, unable to take high-level missions to earn money for medical treatment, so he could only endure it.

It was Ryou who discovered Duy's predicament and, using Medical Ninjutsu, spent a lot of effort and time to heal Duy's injuries and illnesses.

It was also Ryou who helped Duy's poor family.

Perhaps he approached Duy for various reasons, but why was he the only one willing to approach him?

Why weren't his comrades, who believed in the Will of Fire, willing to lend Duy a hand?

To judge a person, one must not look at his declarations, but at his actions; not at what he claims to be, but at what he does and what kind of person he actually is. —Engels.

No matter how splendid the words, they cannot compare to one real action.
