Chapter 111 - Ch 111- Tokyo Jujutsu High

Gojo Satoru's nonsense didn't dispel Fushiguro's confusion

After some questioning, he learned what had happened and looked at Cain with some surprise.

"You suppressed Sukuna's soul?"

"Easy peasy."

"..."

Fushiguro's eye twitched, and he switched to talking to someone else.

"Teacher Gojo, do you have a way to remove Sukuna's finger from his body?"

"Dunno, never tried."

"Then..."

"Megumi, leaving aside whether I can do it or not, even if I could, do you think he'd agree?"

Unlike Fushiguro, after brief contact, Gojo Satoru realized that Cain wasn't some ignorant person.

The other party's act of taking out and swallowing Sukuna's finger was a thoroughly considered move, not a brainless death wish.

Considering the timing, Gojo Satoru even suspected that Cain had noticed Fushiguro before swallowing the finger.

"Anyway, let's put the Sukuna's finger issue aside for now. I see Cain isn't opposed to joining Tokyo Jujutsu High."

"You know the current situation in the industry. Having one more helper who can exterminate Special Grade Cursed Spirits is very important for us."

"You can give me more high-difficulty missions."

Cain cooperatively replied: "As long as it's not fighting Sukuna at full power or a Special Grade Sorcerer, I'll crush them."

"Oh oh! That would be a huge help!"

Gojo Satoru gave two thumbs up simultaneously.

"Cain! NICE!"

Fushiguro: "..."

Forget it, there's no communicating with this guy either.

"Um... excuse me."

Itadori beside them raised his hand: "Leaving aside Cain's thoughts, why do I have to join that Tokyo Jujutsu High too?"

Gojo Satoru tilted his head: "Dunno, but Cain said he wants to bring you along. You can ask him."

Itadori and Fushiguro both looked at Cain.

"If you don't join Tokyo Jujutsu High, Itadori, you're likely to end up alone and die violently. Although joining doesn't make things much better either."

"Huh? What do you mean, 'end up alone and die violently'?"

Itadori was shocked.

He was just an ordinary person with slightly better physical fitness; he got along fine with his classmates.

With no grudges or enemies, who would cause him trouble?

"You're an artificially created vessel for Sukuna."

Cain directly revealed this secret: "Unlike me, who uses force to suppress it, when you ingest Sukuna's finger, you can seal it directly using your body's special characteristics."

"As long as you don't ingest a large number of Sukuna's fingers at once or make some unequal contract with him, he'll never be able to take over your body in your lifetime."

Fushiguro's eyes widened sharply: "Wait! You're not joking, are you?!"

"Now that's some explosive news."

Gojo Satoru leaned in close to examine Itadori again.

"You're too close."

Itadori pushed him a couple of times.

Finding he couldn't move him, he actively stepped back to create distance.

"Is being able to seal Sukuna's finger that important?"

Gojo Satoru nodded: "Very important. According to rumors, Sukuna is a murderous monster. No one wants him revived in this era."

Itadori: "Then why don't you look scared?"

Gojo Satoru's lips curved up: "Because I'm the strongest."

Itadori: "Then there's no need to be afraid, right?"

"Idiot, that's not how it works."

Fushiguro sighed: "Leaving aside whether Teacher Gojo can defeat Sukuna or not, just the casualties his revival would cause are unimaginable for ordinary people. We must avoid it at all costs."

"I see."

Itadori fell into brief silence.

To be honest, even now he still had many questions.

Questions about Cain's true identity, questions about why he was Sukuna's vessel, questions about what Jujutsu Sorcerers represented.

But... one thing was certain: his existence was important. He could limit Sukuna's revival and save many people.

Recalling his grandfather's dying words from just over an hour ago, Itadori made a decision.

"Cain, I'll go to Jujutsu High with you and help seal that thing called Sukuna's finger."

...

Time moved to the next day.

Relying on his authority as a Special Grade Sorcerer, Gojo Satoru quickly helped handle the arrangements for Itadori's grandfather's funeral.

Everything was top-notch. Itadori was very satisfied.

With no more attachments, Itadori, who had become an invincible person, followed Cain and the others to Tokyo Jujutsu High.

Along the way, Fushiguro split off first. Gojo Satoru brought Cain and Itadori before Principal Yaga Masamichi.

"So, Yaga! I brought back two big treasures for you! No need to worry about this year's performance quotas now!"

"Idiot! Now's not the time to discuss performance quotas!"

As the principal of Tokyo Jujutsu High, Yaga Masamichi appeared on the surface to be a very stern middle-aged man.

But in reality, he was quite responsible towards his students, unlike the stubborn higher-ups of the Jujutsu world.

After hearing Gojo Satoru's explanation, he immediately understood the seriousness of the matter.

"Cain, Itadori Yuji."

Looking at the two youths standing before him, Yaga Masamichi stood up, a faint pressure emanating from his body.

"Do you two understand what it means for you to be standing here now?"

"What does it mean?"

Itadori tilted his head, his clear eyes filled with confusion.

"What a hassle."

Yaga Masamichi clenched his fist and tapped it over his heart.

"Since you don't understand, I'll spell it out clearly."

"Very few Jujutsu Sorcerers meet a peaceful end. And ingesting Sukuna's finger means you're sentenced to death."

"What?! Why?!"

Itadori's eyes widened sharply: "We're helping seal Sukuna's finger! Shouldn't we be praised?!"

"Because Sukuna's finger is that dangerous. If there's a chance to eliminate it, the higher-ups won't hold back."

Gojo Satoru replied from the side.

Hearing his words, Itadori grew even more shocked: "Teacher Gojo! Why didn't you mention this earlier?!"

Gojo Satoru waved his hand: "Relax, you don't need to worry. Right now, only Cain is the one who ate the finger."

"That makes it even more worrying!"

The usually cheerful Itadori was uncharacteristically getting a headache.

"By the way, why is the person involved not the least bit nervous about such a serious problem?"

"Because Gojo Satoru doesn't intend to kill me."

Cain's expression was calm, his voice full of confidence.

"As long as Gojo Satoru doesn't make a move, even the other three Special Grade Sorcerers can't kill me head-on."

"Huh? Is that so?"

This time, it was Gojo Satoru's turn to be surprised: "Besides that slash technique, do you have other trump cards?"

Cain glanced at him: "Simply put, I won't die even if cut in half at the waist. I can still fight even if I lose my head."

Itadori: "?"

Yaga Masamichi: "?"

That description has already left the realm of humanity, hasn't it?

"That's quite the impressive trump card."

Gojo Satoru also let out a sigh of admiration.

Even the most advanced Reverse Cursed Technique couldn't achieve that level. That's completely in the realm of Cursed Spirit.

"Yaga, what's your take?"

"...If everything he said is true, we can use this as a reason to negotiate with the higher-ups."

"Then I'll leave it to you."

Gojo Satoru made the final decision.

"Um... what about me?"

Itadori raised his hand and asked.

Yaga Masamichi, who was about to say something, suddenly fell silent.

Compared to Cain, who could immediately become a combat asset despite raising obvious questions, this one... truly knows nothing.

But letting him go wasn't very realistic either.

According to Cain, his father is the reincarnation of Sukuna's twin brother, and his mother is a schemer who has lived for over a thousand years, now occupying the body of the deceased Geto Suguru.

Letting someone with such a problematic background roam free, even if the higher-ups of the Jujutsu world didn't care, would inevitably cause trouble. Keeping him at Jujutsu High was the best option.

"Gojo Satoru, you take Cain and leave first."

Yaga Masamichi took a doll from his pocket.

"I need to run some tests on Itadori Yuji to see if he qualifies to join the frontlines."

"Alright~ I'll leave it to you then."

Gojo Satoru waved goodbye with complete trust.

He had confidence in Yaga Masamichi's judgment, at least it was more reliable than his own.

"Good luck, Itadori."

Cain gave Itadori a thumbs-up.

His relationship with Itadori was quite good.

Before gaining power in the Mist Space, he spent most of his time by Itadori's side for a sense of security, which was why they got along so well.

After cheering Itadori on, he followed Gojo Satoru out of Yaga Masamichi's dojo.

It was June, a time when all things flourished. The trees lining the road exuded vibrant vitality, showing off their beauty to the new students of the academy.

"Cain, how do you find the school's scenery?"

"If you have something to ask, just say it directly. No need to beat around the bush."

"Huh? Was it that obvious?"

"You should ask yourself: are you the type of teacher who asks students about the scenery?"

"Haha! Fair enough!"

Gojo Satoru burst into laughter.

After mentally chiding himself for not staying calm, he stopped walking and adjusted his blindfold.

"Then I'll get straight to the point."

Streaks of light flashed in his pupils as his sapphire-blue eyes, like gemstones, looked ahead.

"Cain, is what you mentioned earlier about Kenjaku and Geto Suguru really true?"

"It's true."

"What's your source?"

"Trade secret."

"Fine."

Gojo Satoru pulled his blindfold back down.

Cain: "Aren't you going to press further?"

Gojo Satoru: "Everyone has secrets. There's no need to pry too much into such matters. Besides, according to you, they'll eventually come knocking on their own. I'll judge for myself whether it's true or false then."

If what Cain said was true, then he bore the primary responsibility for Geto Suguru's body being taken over.

To let him rest in peace, he would stop at nothing to reclaim Geto Suguru's body and grant him peace.

"That person named Kenjaku, besides using Geto Suguru, does he have any other weaknesses?"

"Not that I know of. But after all, he's an ancient thing that's lived for a thousand years. It's better to stay vigilant."

Cain didn't hide anything on this matter.

Although the original story made him die somewhat pathetically, Gojo Satoru still had his strengths.

Helping him was more beneficial than not.

"By the way, you should be free now, right?"

"Yeah, why?"

"There are some things I'd like to ask you about."

"No problem."

Gojo Satoru made an OK gesture with his hand.

There's no such thing as a free lunch.

Having gotten so much information from Cain for free, giving something back was no big deal to him.

Note: No chapter yesterday, cause today was my income tax exam. Very scary subject guys, especially for someone like me, who starts tweaking if anything related no.'s is mentioned.
