"Ok everyone, remember when you go over this painted grassed line you will be in the range of the forest. The effects will be instantaneous so don't be frightened. Remember to go in and out as fast as possible, we don't know what else might appear."
Anxin said while holding a cup with water and pointing at the white vibrant paint on the green grass.
The current hunters were in a forest filled with bright green leaves, filled with an ecosystem unknown to them. He could see a few birds flying around in the trees while hearing them chirp, it was quiet but noticeable.
The tree swayed and different sounds were coming from behind the line. Noah looked at the bare fence around the area and the white paint at the entrance. Noticing how it was the line that showed where the border would be.
"Ok lets get started. Noah starts your spell the moment you go into the forest, remember if you hear something, no you didn't. If you see something you didn't and don't acknowledge any presence you are not one hundred percent sure about."
Hazel then waved her fingers back and forth as a signal telling them to start moving. Noah seeing this followed suit with Satan in his jacket and a bag with his preparations.
He was right behind the white line and he could feel the weight of the air coming from in front of him. He slowly moved his leg in front of him, closed his eyes and stepped.
Instantly everything went dark, the forest that he saw behind the line was nothing like what is seeing right now. The trees were dyed black, it stretched high up into the also dark sky. What gave him the ability to see was none other than the goat plush by his side.
The road in front of him confused him more, no one was around and the hunters were nowhere to be found. Rather than that it felt as if he was abandoned here all alone.
Realizing that things had gone astray he tried to go back out of the forest. When he stepped over the white line he was transported right back to where he stood. Then he tried again.
Before long he figured there was no other choice but to just walk down the path away from the entrance. The path was a dirt path, rather than just dirt it had black flowers surrounding the road but never directly on it. What topped it off was the trees that were without leaves the moment he stepped onto the path.
As he walked the trees began to dim and there was only road and flowers. He did not know what kind they were as he did not try looking closer.
[This is not supposed to be happening, I don't know what this is but be careful and repeat the next words ok?]
Got it.
[Oh divine being of wrath, I pray to thy for guidance and mercy, may you cleanse those unworthy of your presence.]
"Oh divine being of wrath, I pray to thy for guidance and mercy, may you cleanse those unworthy of your presence."
[Good, now put your hands together in a praying position for a second and then immediately put your other hand behind your back. After closing your last two fingers and breathing in and out.]
Got it.
When Noah did that a sudden red glow appeared around him. He could tell that the so-called healing spell was working its magic.
[When this spell is activated nothing can harm you.]
Noah nodded and walked forward more. The more he walked though he noticed the fewer flowers there were.
When there was one flower on both sides of the path and only empty black grass up ahead he heard a noise. It had come from behind him.
"Turn back, Noah."
Noah quickly grabbed his backpack strap and started sprinting forward as fast as possible. The sound came from right behind him as if it was speaking directly into his right ear. It was a whisper, a whisper he knew very well but also knew would not be the person he thought it was. It made the sound of Edwin his Edwin.
As he ran the footsteps behind him grew louder and felt as if he was being chased by some odd creature.
"Don't run, just go back."
The creature said right to his ear again. Noah could only run and not reply to the creature behind him.
That is not a skinwalker! Why is it chasing me?!
As he kept running the chasing just stopped. Noticing the sudden loss of sound behind him his pace slowed down a bit but he kept running forward.
Before he could catch his breath another sound came from in front of him. This time it felt as though the creature was hurt by his actions and was just going to let him keep running forward.
"Fine then."
It said, there was only sound and no figure, nothing at all, only air and the heavy breathing coming from the strain of running.
Where is it? Is it in front of me?
Noah was in thought and stopped running to turn around. He saw nothing at all. Just black grass and the dirt path. The dark brown dirt path.
What?
"Sorry."
The voice said, no, the figureless voice was at a distance from where he was. It was far, really far as if it could not go over a specific point of the path. Noah was bothered by this but he just turned around and ran forward hoping there would be an exit.
In the corner of his eyes he saw it, a figure of a long blonde haired man. He had the most beautiful blue eyes known to him, it was a light blue tone and he wore a simple white shirt and a white button down. He smiled brightly enough so that Noah practically stopped as if it was a ghost.
"Edwin?"
Quickly seeing the figure of Edwin he took a step toward the figure, before long he had taken a step off the path. When that happened he was pulled back by something and immediately there was a bright green scenery in front of him.
It was the green grass and beautiful trees in front of him that he had seen before he stepped forward into the forest. The difference was that his foot was in front of the line.
"Do you hear me?"
Hazel said as she waved her hands in front of his eyes.
