Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: Hanamitchi

Kiefer's POV:

She looks so beautiful! I still regret the day I let her go. I wish I hadn't agreed to let her transfer to another section. I wish she were still with me, still mine.

My first clenched when I saw her with that man---the man she chose to be with instead of me. Her smile was so bright, and I just wanted to punch the guy she was with.

Everytime I see them, I feel like punching Aries. He took Ella from me. He poisoned her mind and made her think our section was trash.

If only you knew who you were messing with, Michael Aries Fernandez. You'll regret the day you entered this school.

**Jay-Jay's POV:**

Ugh!!! Here I am again! About to enter the section full of jerks.

When I got to the room, nothing was happening yet. Keifer still wasn't here. I haven't seen him. Honestly, I don't care about him.

The earlier classes went smoothly. I've caught up with the lessons. Still no sign of the king of jerks.

Lunchtime came. I knew they'd try to take my food again, and I didn't want to go to the cafeteria, so I just packed some rice and a few chips.

But where am I going to eat?

Then I remembered there's a second floor in this building, but the stairs are blocked by a bunch of stuff.

But I don't have anywhere else to go. No choice!

I left the room and walked toward the stairs. There was a lot of junk piled up, but there was still a path to get through. I squeezed my way through. With every step, mosquitoes came out. I might get dengue here.

I reached the second floor. I looked around first to make sure no one would see me. I sat on the stairs, took out my lunch, and quietly chewed while thinking about the lessons and, of course, why it seemed like their president hadn't shown up.

"Hey!"

"Pffffttt.... Jerk!" I spat out what I was chewing in shock at the sudden shout.

I looked to see who it was. Keifer, the president and king of jerks. I thought he wasn't coming today!

He must've been hanging out on the second floor for a while now.

I glared at him. "You jerk----"

"Whatever..." He suddenly sat down beside me. He looked at my food.

".... What's your ulam?"

"None of your business?!"

"Tss. I'm trying to be nice here!" He shouted at me.

I felt a little embarrassed. I was being rude, after all.

"Tss. Fried Asuhos," I answered.

I didn't have time to cook, so I just took the leftover ulam from this morning---or maybe it was from last night.

I was shocked when he grabbed my lunch box.

"Whatever this is... I'll just take some," He said, scooping rice and ulam into his mouth.

I just started at him, dumbfounded. He seemed like a different person. He was clearly hungry, given how fast he was eating.

He handed the lunchbox bach to me after taking a bite or two.

"Don't say I'm greedy."

I didn't say anything. I just took a few bites myself. Then I handed the lunchbox back at him. He looked surprised at first but took it anyway.

"It's obvious you're hungry."

We ended up taking turns eating. After he took a cute, it was my turn. It was kind of gross sharing utensils, but that's how it is when you're hungry. No complaints as long as there's food.

Honestly, Keifer looks like he comes from a healthy family. He's fair-skinned and has smooth skin. He has a strong presence too. I also noticed he has a well-built body. He even has a small earring on his right ear. It's so tiny you can barely see it.

Truth be told? This jerk is actually good-looking!

"Stop staring at me!"

I was startled by his shout and snapped back to reality.

"W-was I staring?" I played dumb.

"No.... You were st-a-r-i-n-g!" he clarified.

I felt embarrassed by what I did. My cheeks started to burn. What's wrong with me? Why am I feeling shy around this jerks?!

I coughed to clear my throat and calm my nerves.

"B-by the way, why weren't you in class earlier?" I changed the subject.

"No reason.... Why? Did you miss me?"

My eyes widened at what he said. Excuse me? The nerve!

"Ha?! DREAM ON!"

He suddenly laughed. I don't know why, but he looked even more handsome when he laughed.

"B-by the way, why don't you buy food from the cafeteria?" I changed the subject again.

"We're not allowed there..... "

Huh? Is that even allowed?

"Why not? Since when are students banned from the cafeteria?"

His expression suddenly turned serious. It's been a while... We're just not allowed there."

He stood up and started walking down the stairs.

"Hey! Wait!" I called after him.

But I seemed like he went deaf. He ignored me and left for good.

I cleaned up our lunch and went back downstairs. What's his problem? Possessd? Bipolar? Crazy? He's so unstable!

When I got back to the room, the whole class looked like wilted vegetables. They were all so lethargic, probably because they hadn't eaten lunch.

I sat down in my seat. I didn't see Keifer, it seemed like he really didn't come to class.

While waiting, I suddenly remembered I still had some chips in my bag.

I took out a pack of Loaded, and to my surprise, my classmates looked like rabid dogs drooling over it.

"This is fun!"

I grabbed another pack of Loaded from my bag and threw it at them with all my might. They went wild, fighting over it like lions.

Hahaha. They look so stupid!

Felix approached me. "" Don't you have the big one? I'm hungry," He said, pouting.

I felt a little sorry for him, so I gave him the Nova I packed.

Thankfully, my Janspot bag is spacious, so I can fit a lot of food in it. Hehehe.

I threw more chips at my classmates, but I stopped when someone shouted,

"WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE?!"

We all turned to the door. A guy as big as Keifer, with glasses, red hair, and a gym bag, was standing at the door.

"There's Sakuragi!"

Idiot! Hanamitchi!"

"He's got food!"

I looked at Felix, who was just staring seriously at the guy at the door they called Hanamitchi or Sakuragi. Isn't that from an anime?

"Bro...." Felix greeted him, but the guy just glared at me.

He handed the gym bag he was carrying to one of our classmates, who immediately took it and started rummaging through it all the back.

He looked at me with his brows furrowed. He looked scary even with his glasses on, like Keifer. I hide behind Felix.

"Who's that?" He asked, still looking at me.

"T-this is Jay-jay..... The transferee," Felix answered.

He looked around as if searching for someone. "Where's Keifer? Does he know about this?"

"Y-yeah, he does...." Felix scratched the back of his neck. "She's been here since yesterday."

"And Keifer didn't do anything?!" His tone was filled with anger.

Is it such a big deal that I'm here?

"Well.... He did, but---"

"But she's still here!"

He was really angry. What's his problem with me? What's so bad about me being here?

"You! " He called me."..... Why are you still here?"

I couldn't answer. He was scary. His aura was exactly like Keifer's. Are they related?

"And why are you treatimg my classmates like dogs?!"

Hey! That's not true! I was just having fun with them.

"I-I wasn't---"

"Then what are you doing?!"

"Giving them food."

He looked at his classmates.

"You've been gone for days.... We haven't had lunch," One of them explained.

"And Keifer didn't do anything?" The red-haired guy asked.

Why does he keep asking about Keifer?

It's like you don't know him," Felix replied.

"Tss" That's all he said before sitting at the back.

I immediately turned to Felix. "Who's that?" I whispered.

"That's Yuri Hanamitichi.... Our classmate---well, your classmate now."

"Why is he only showing up now?"

"He was suspended.... He went to the cafeteria, but we're not allowed there."

Oh, right. I almost forgot about that.

"Why are you banned? I don't get it."

He chuckled a little. "Sorry, Jay, it's not my story to tell."

What's with that? I'm not getting anywhere with Felix. I'm so intrigued by this "banned from the cafeteria" thing.

Plus, there's the whole scene where the red-haired guy wanted me gone.

Is his hair color even natural?

I wanted to ask Felix more, but our teacher arrived.

Ugh! I'm so itching to know that story!

Mrs. Zaragosa started teaching. Like before, she approached me to ask,

"Jay, have you chosen a section yet?"

I felt the class go quiet. I glanced behind me. They were all pretending to look forward.

I turned back to Ma'am. "N-not yet, ma'am."

"It's okay..... but I hope you can decide before that 1st Granding. It'll be harder to transfer you once you've taken the tests."

"O-okay, ma'am."

Here's another one. Why are they so eager to transfer me? What's wrong with this place?

My classes for the day ended. I still don't understand why they're so insistent on transferring me.

Is it because I'm the only girl? But why do the Section E guys want me gone too? Is it still because I'm a girl?

Darn it! I should've been born a guy!
