In the vast emptiness of space, five celestial beings floated in silence, four of them facing the fifth.
A thick mist covered their forms, making it difficult to see their faces or even the true shape of their bodies. Their presence felt immense, yet there was nothing in that endless void to compare them to. Size, distance, direction—none of it held meaning here.
They hovered in a loose circle, the four surrounding the last one, their positions steady as if time itself had slowed around them.
For a moment, nothing moved.
Then a voice echoed.
"Hel… why did you do it?"
The voice felt like it came from everywhere at once, layered and endless. It was impossible to tell which of the five had spoken, but there was a faint feminine tone beneath it.
The silence that followed was heavy.
Then another voice answered.
"Irpa… I had to do it… It felt like something that must be done… to make this world a better place."
The one being surrounded spoke calmly, yet there was something deeper beneath it tone—something firm, unshaken.
"You didn't make the world better," another voice cut in, cold and emotionless. "Everything you touched was ruined. You are destroying the natural order. You created something unnecessary."
Hel's presence shifted slightly.
"Don't speak of the natural order to me, Forseti," Hel replied, it voice echoing across the void. "You, as the ruler of justice, should know it is not fair. I created life of my own… just like all of you have done."
"You created something vile by destroying the world we built," Forseti responded, it's voice heavy with judgment. "You made a decision that beings like us should never make. We create perfection… not imperfection."
"Do you all think you can judge me?" Hel's voice sharpened, the space around ot trembling slightly. "That you decide what is right and wrong? You created what you wanted… and I borrowed from yours to create mine."
It's presence grew stronger.
"What I created is right. Stronger. What you all created was weak… and it needed correction."
The void seemed to tighten.
"You created beings that grow too slowly. You gave your creations short lifespans and limited opportunities to extend them. I gave mine immense potential… the power to evolve past their limits as they desire."
It's voice carried emotion now.
"We have all existed since the beginning of the universe. We understand the meaning of long life better than the so-called weak beings you created. Yet you gave them will… the ability to think and act freely."
It's tone hardened.
"What do you think will happen?"
Silence stretched for a brief moment before Hel continued.
"They destroy their own world to extend their lives. They fight, betray, and consume one another just to survive longer. You gave them sadness, disease, and the loss of loved ones… all to create an illusion of life."
A pause.
Then—
"Look around. I did not destroy your worlds. The beings you created already did. I only gave them a way to grow stronger… to surpass their limits."
It's voice dropped, quieter now, but heavier.
"And how is it wrong… if they must be destroyed to grow stronger?"
The space trembled faintly.
"What I created… I gave them something we never had. They grow by consuming. They feast… and become stronge
A faint bitterness slipped through.
Silence followed.
Then a fourth voice spoke.
"Your thoughts have gone astray. You can no longer distinguish between right and wrong."
For a brief moment—everything stopped.
It was as if the universe itself had paused.
Then another voice echoed again, calm but filled with overwhelming will.
"You cannot continue like this, Hel. If you are left alone, the natural order will eventually collapse. You must stop using your power in this way… even if it means we must go against you."
The space around them trembled, subtle but undeniable.
"You may have come into existence before us and hold greater strength…But I will do what I must."
The pressure intensified.
"Even if it means destroying everything we have worked so hard for."
The silence that followed was heavier than before.
Then—another voice spoke.
"Mimir… stop."
For the first time, the fifth being—the one who had remained silent—finally spoke.
"Hel… the beings we created bring meaning to life. We made every moment meaningful… filled with importance and happiness."
It's voice echoed softly, yet carried deep conviction.
"We gave them shorter lives so they would understand the value of time… so they would cherish it. We gave them sadness, joy, and death… because every being must come to an end."
The mist around it shifted slightly.
"We were created from nothing… with nothing… and given free will. Now it is their turn to choose what to do with theirs. We want them to live every moment to the fullest."
Hel's presence grew colder.
"You speak out of emotion, Sjofn," it replied. "What we create does not need to choose for themselves. As creators, we decide their fate. They follow our will."
A faint pulse of energy spread from it.
"What I have created… from the fragments of your worlds… has the potential to surpass all beings."
A pause.
"But they are under my control."
"You cannot control what has no limits," Forseti snapped back. "You cannot control those abominations. They have crawled through the core of our worlds, devouring and merging into something we cannot contain."
"Do not call them abominations!" Hel's voice cracked through the void, the space around it distorting. "They are my creation… my children. You have no right to condemn them."
"You have given us no choice, Hel," Mimir said, its voice steady as the energy around them began to shift. "This could have been resolved if you destroyed what you created."
The energy in the void began to gather.
"So you have all decided…" Hel said quietly.
A brief silence followed.
"It does not matter now. It is too late. All that is left… is the human world Irpa created."
It's voice turned distant.
Then—it raised its hand.
A sphere of celestial energy formed within its grasp, glowing with immense power.
Without hesitation—Hel crushed it.
The void trembled violently.
"With this… all worlds will merge."
It's voice echoed across the collapsing space.
"And then… you will see whose creation survives."
"Hel—stop!" Irpa shouted, rushing forward.
"No… Irpa, go. Protect your world before it is too late!" Sjofn called out urgently.
At the same moment, the other beings moved.
Chains of pure energy formed instantly, stretching across the void and wrapping around Hel's body.
The universe began to shake.
Space itself fractured as cracks spread endlessly, like shattered glass.
Hel moved.
It looked slow—but in the next instant, she was already in front of Irpa.
Their gazes locked.
"I cannot allow you to do that," Hel said quietly. "I have prepared for this moment. I will not let it be ruined by the likes of you."
The space around them locked.
A crushing aura spread from it
"Hel… you have gone too far," the others said.
The chains tightened.
"We will make it so that you never see the light of day again. You will not be able to use your power."
Their voices overlapped, echoing through the sealed space.
The chains pulsed—and Hel was sealed.
A prison formed around it.
But it was too late.
The cracks had already spread.Worlds had already begun to merge.
Irpa turned.
Far below—her world.Earth.
Rifts had already begun to open across its surface.
She raised her hand, gathering her remaining energy.A glowing sphere formed.
She sent it downward.
"I hope this will help you all…"
Her voice was soft.
Then one by one—the celestial beings faded into the void.
Irpa stayed for a long time before disappearing and everything returned to normal . The vast empty space of a the cracks as light floated in the empty space
None of the beings could be seen. And below them—
the world began to break.
