Chapter 44 - Chapter 44: Return to Hachinosu Island! Astonishing Treasure!

Raiver Sky looked toward the king, who was in a sorry state lying on the massive ice floe, and raised his hand, making a grasping motion through the air—

Gravity erupted, and the king's body was yanked up as if by an invisible hand, tearing him away from the floating ice and sending him flying forward at high speed!

"No—!!!"

The king let out a cry of utter despair:

"Spare me!! Lord Raiver Sky, spare me!! I'll give you all the treasure! The throne too! I'll give you everything!! Just spare my life—!!!"

He was wrong.

Terribly wrong.

He shouldn't have provoked this god of death.

This was no man—this was a monster, a devil, a walking natural disaster!

But Raiver Sky's expression remained impassive.

For such a fickle, greedy fool, he felt not an ounce of pity.

At the tip of his fist, a halo of intensely compressed repulsive force began to gather.

It was a "Singularity," formed by compressing the repulsive power of "Almighty Push" to its absolute limit.

Then, he threw a punch, striking the king's body just as it flew before him.

BOOM—!!!!

Space shattered under that fist.

A violent Shockwave of repulsive force vaporized the king on the spot, leaving not a trace of his remains!

Immediately after, the residual repulsive force spread out in a fan shape, covering the entire area ahead!

BOOM—!!!!

An invisible torrent of repulsive force surged forward like a tsunami!

Wherever it passed, the ice layer was completely torn away—soldiers, warhorses, cannons, flags… everything was swept away by that terrifying repulsive force.

The repulsive torrent advanced a full three kilometers before gradually dissipating.

And along that three-kilometer path…

There was nothing left.

The ice had been completely stripped away, revealing the dark frozen soil beneath.

Soldiers, weapons, corpses… all had been cleared, as if wiped from the map by an invisible giant hand.

An army of one hundred thousand, under this single strike…

Was utterly annihilated.

The entire battlefield fell into dead silence.

The pirates who had been moving the treasure witnessed this scene and stood frozen, their minds and spirits shaken.

They stood gaping, eyes wide, some even dropping the treasure in their hands without noticing.

What they had just seen completely surpassed their understanding.

One man, annihilating an army of one hundred thousand.

This wasn't war—this was… slaughter.

It was a deity crushing ants.

They had never imagined that Officer Raiver Sky was this powerful—he didn't even need to draw his blade to reduce that vast army to dust.

Along with their shock, awe and worship welled up in their hearts.

This was reverence for absolute power, adoration for the strong.

On these seas, strength was everything.

And Raiver Sky stood at the pinnacle of strength.

Raiver Sky withdrew his stance, turned, and instantly teleported through the air back to the pirate ship.

His expression remained calm, as if he had merely swatted a few flies.

"Continue moving the treasure."

His quiet voice snapped the pirates out of their daze.

"Yes, yes!!"

"Hurry! Speed it up!"

"Move all the treasure onto the ship! Not a single piece left behind!"

The pirates worked as if injected with adrenaline, moving several times faster than before.

The way they looked at Raiver Sky was no longer just with awe—it was now tinged with something close to fanatical belief.

With a leader this powerful, how could the Rocks Pirates not conquer the world?

Four days later, Raiver Sky's pirate ship smoothly returned to Hachinosu Island.

At the dock, crew members were busy unloading mountains of treasure from the ship.

Coincidentally, the plundering fleets led by other officers also returned one after another on the same day.

"Jeehahaha... Raiver Sky, you've made quite a haul this trip!"

Shiki crossed his arms, watching the endless stream of treasure being carried out from the ship's hold that nearly filled half the dock, and couldn't help but exclaim in amazement:

"What you brought back alone... is almost comparable to the combined gains of our three fleets."

The fleets of Shiki, Whitebeard, and John had collectively plundered eight islands, three pirate crews, and two kingdoms, with total treasure worth approximately two hundred billion Belly.

And this single ship of Raiver Sky...

Just what had already been unloaded before their eyes was worth at least one hundred and fifty billion.

Moreover, judging by the situation, at least half still remained in the ship's hold.

This guy always managed to create some shocking commotion whenever he took action.

"Does that even need saying, Shiki?"

John's tone beside them carried thick sourness:

"That's the treasure of the Ice Continent... the accumulated wealth of over ten generations of the Happo Navy. It's probably even richer than that Celestial Tribute we plundered before."

His gaze toward the treasure was complex beyond measure.

He had coveted that legendary treasure in the West Sea for many years, privately conducting numerous investigations and secretly planning to seize an opportunity to strike.

He had even formulated a detailed plan: first incite internal conflict within the Happo Navy, then take advantage of the chaos...

He never expected Captain Rocks to be one step ahead, and to have sent Raiver Sky of all people.

Under these circumstances, he didn't even have the right to complain - who could blame him for being less capable?

Who could blame him for lacking Raiver Sky's bizarre spatial ability that could traverse half the world to complete missions?

John couldn't help but glance at Raiver Sky again, thoughts churning in his mind:

Such an enormous amount of treasure... Could this guy have secretly withheld a portion for himself?

If it were him, he would absolutely have hidden away at least thirty percent!

"Enough, John, rein in those thoughts."

Silver Axe, noticing this, frowned and quietly reminded:

"All this treasure will eventually be exchanged for weapons, ammunition, and supplies to be added to the crew's collective treasury.

When resources are distributed, you'll naturally get your share."

Silver Axe paused, lowering his voice further:

"This is a critical period - don't cause trouble out of envy. You know the consequences if you make the captain unhappy."

John's expression shifted, and he turned away resentfully, though the corner of his eye still couldn't help stealing glances at the treasure.

Silver Axe shook his head and turned to Raiver Sky:

"Speaking of which, Raiver Sky, didn't you make too much of a commotion when retrieving the goods this time?"

He unfolded the newspaper, whose front-page headline read:

[SHOCKING EVENTS IN WEST SEA! King of Kano Country Dies Suddenly, Hundred Thousand Strong Army Wiped Out, Glacier Treasure Mysteriously Disappears!]

[Rocks Pirates Officer Raiver Sky Suspected to Have Appeared in West Sea - Coincidence or...?]

When they had seen the headline news in the newspaper earlier, they had all thought Raiver Sky's mission was to destroy Kano Country.

Now they understood that Raiver Sky had also gone to plunder treasure.

As for why the King of Kano Country and that hundred-thousand strong army were wiped out?

That was obviously because those blind fools had brought death upon themselves.

"Gurararara... That king of Kano Country must have seawater in his brain, daring to provoke even our Rocks Pirate Ship."

Whitebeard Newgate took a swig of liquor, laughing boisterously.

He knew Raiver Sky's character well - unless the other party initiated provocation or committed some unforgivable act.

Raiver Sky wouldn't have "erased" them along with their hundred thousand troops from this world.

Afterwards, Raiver Sky successfully obtained half of the Glacier Treasure's wealth.

These treasures were stored by him using gravitational force to draw them into the Space Warehouse in his right palm.
