Chapter 86 - Chapter 86: Paw-Paw Fruit! Azure Dragon Fruit!

The Celestial Dragon woke in agony, his eyes nearly bulging from their sockets as he let out a heart-rending scream.

Before the scream could fade, two more icy arcs of light crisscrossed through the air.

Both arms were severed at the shoulders.

Raiver's eyes remained indifferent as he slightly raised his left hand.

An invisible gravitational force instantly seized the limbless, twitching, blood-spurting body and flung it backward.

Behind him, a translucent "wall" formed by gravitational force already held over a hundred similar figures densely packed together.

They were all Celestial Dragons, now reduced to mere torsos and heads, the severed stumps of their limbs a bloody mess, truly becoming "Human Swine."

The blood hadn't coagulated, still continuously gushing from their wounds.

The earliest ones hung up had long ceased struggling, their faces frozen in extreme pain and terror, dead!

Raiver's figure flickered, vanishing from his spot as he pursued his next prey.

...

On the other end of the battlefield, the Roger Pirates, who had attacked from the island's eastern coast, collided violently with the main force of the Rocks Pirates surging in like a tide from the west.

They met in the half-destroyed town center, where swords, guns, and roars instantly tangled into a chaotic mess.

"The treasure! It's over at the town square!" someone shouted, and the wave of greed grew even more frenzied.

Roger scanned the battlefield and yelled, "Rayleigh, take Shakky and break through the encirclement! I'll handle things here!"

"Understood!" Rayleigh tightly held Shakky, maneuvering through the artillery-ridden battlefield.

"Rayleigh's taking Shakky away!" a sharp-eyed pirate immediately cried out.

"Damn it! That's too enviable!"

"Take down Rayleigh! Get Shakky back!"

Hovering in mid-air, Shiki heard this and backhanded the loudest shouting pirate, angrily cursing:

"Idiot! You'll hurt Shakky by accident!

The target right now is the treasure! Aside from Shakky, seize everything else!"

The matter of Shakky's affiliation seemed to become a brief interlude.

But the flames of conflict didn't extinguish because of it; instead, they burned even more fiercely as all forces threw themselves into the fray with increased madness.

Rayleigh, holding Shakky, swiftly navigated through the hail of bullets and collapsing debris of buildings.

"Shakky, there are some things I must tell you now..."

Shakky wrapped her arms around his neck, pressing her face against his blood-stained shirt, and softly interrupted:

"There's no need... Rayleigh, I already know everything."

Just as everyone's attention was captivated by the frontal battlefield and the treasure,

two figures stealthily slipped into the town's first warehouse, where the prizes were stored.

Little Ivan peered around nervously yet excitedly: "Unbelievable... the whole island is in chaos! This is a heaven-sent opportunity!"

Beside him, Kuma nodded gently, his gaze fixed on the two peculiarly shaped fruits displayed on the central platform in the warehouse.

"This is..." Kuma picked up one of them.

"No time to worry about that!" Little Ivan grabbed the other fruit and opened his mouth to bite:

"Who knows which is which? Let's just eat it and gain the power first!"

Before his words finished—

BOOM!!!

The warehouse wall violently exploded, creating a huge gap.

Amidst the smoke, dust, and rubble, a tall figure with long pink hair charged in—it was Charlotte Linlin!

With a sweeping motion of her large palm, she directly slapped Little Ivankov to the ground, simultaneously snatching the Devil Fruit from his hand.

"Mamamama... close call, close call." Linlin examined the cyan fruit in her hand, letting out a triumphant laugh:

"Almost let you brats eat it."

Her greedy gaze immediately shifted to the one in Kuma's hand: "Hey, kid, hand over the one you're holding too."

"Kuma! Don't give it to her!" Ivankov, lying on the ground, shouted hoarsely, "Quick! Eat it! Don't hesitate!"

Hearing this, Kuma immediately stuffed the fruit with paw-pad patterns into his mouth, forcing it down almost without chewing.

Linlin's smile instantly froze on her face. Reaching out to snatch it was already a step too late.

"Well done, Kuma!" Ivankov shouted through the pain:

"Even if only one of us gains power... this is our own victory!"

Still unfamiliar with his newly acquired ability, Kuma was driven by survival instinct.

He raised both hands, peculiar paw-pad-shaped bubbles appearing on his palms, and slapped them fiercely onto Little Ivan and himself—

Pop

The two instantly turned into afterimages, shooting out through the breach in the warehouse at astonishing speed.

Almost at the same moment, the treasure scramble in the town center had reached a fever pitch.

Pirates fought fiercely over gold, silver, jewels, weapons, and even Devil Fruits. Roars and the clash of blades were incessant; the situation had completely spiraled out of control.

Garp and his adjutant Bogard were making their way through a battlefield littered with wreckage and strewn with corpses.

Garp's face was livid as he roared into the Den Den Mushi in his hand:

"Hey! Sengoku! Did you know about this beforehand or not?!"

Sengoku: "Prior to this, an unidentified individual leaked some vague intel to the Marines, then vanished without a trace.

Looking at it now, Fleet Admiral Kong knew about this, but he didn't tell us."

Garp punched the half-collapsed wall beside him, rubble cascading down:

"If this isn't a nightmare, then what's before our eyes is a living hell!"

...

On another side of the battlefield, Rocks finally found his wife and child amidst the crevices of the ruins.

He hoisted his wife Eris onto his shoulder and fled with all his might.

However, the Monster Legion pursuing them was extremely tenacious.

They seemed impervious to pain, with even fatal wounds healing within a short time—truly undying monsters.

"Like Imu, unkillable?!" Rocks frowned deeply.

Eris, slung over his shoulder, struggled anxiously: "Rocks! Put me down!"

"We'll talk after getting out of here first!" Rocks glanced back, gritting his teeth:

"Why has everyone turned into those monstrous forms... Whose ability is this?

Father... Grandmother... What exactly happened to you all?!"

Though twisted and ferocious, he could still recognize familiar outlines among the pursuers' faces.

Rocks didn't know that his clansmen had been dominated by Imu through the Black Transformation—completely corrupted and transformed into demons who knew only slaughter.

With his closest kin reduced to pawns, the Davy Family was being dragged into an abyss of eternal damnation.

Commanding this demonic army were two God Knights, the leader among them being Saint Garling.

Saint Garling touched a fresh wound on his chest, deep enough to reveal bone, yet slowly healing:

"The wound from that bastard Rocks took quite some time to heal."

The female knight beside him spoke up: "But at least we confirmed that Rocks is a remnant of the Davy Family. If we can eliminate him here, that lord will surely be very pleased."

"Exactly." Saint Garling licked the corner of his mouth. "Although this game was unexpectedly disrupted, it might just be our good fortune."
