Chapter 128 - Chapter 128: West Sea Ohara! Roger's Invitation!

Raiver had once conducted an experiment.

He condensed a drop of his own blood into a Blood Pearl and fed it to an injured mouse.

As a result, the mouse's injuries healed completely within just a few seconds.

Moreover, over the following months, it became exceptionally active, and its fur grew more lustrous than that of other mice.

The experiment proved that if he transplanted one of his cells into another person's body, that cell would, like a cancer cell, frantically divide and regenerate until it completely assimilated the other person'ss cells.

Thus, Raiver summoned Jieming and Jiexi, condensed two drops of his blood into Blood Pearls, and had them ingest them.

Jieming and Jiexi were his right-hand men, having followed him for many years. They were loyal and possessed immense potential.

Raiver did not want to see, many years later, their bodies aging, their strength declining, ultimately turning into two old men who would then grow old and die.

As for the maids in the Sky Palace, Raiver granted them the ability of immortality through another method.

He also did not wish to see these vibrant flowers wither and fade many years later.

Flowers should bloom forever in their most beautiful form.

Buru buru~ Buru buru~

The ringing of a Den Den Mushi broke the harmonious atmosphere of music and dance within the hall.

Xingmian immediately set down her wine glass, picked up the Den Den Mushi from the low table with both hands, and presented it to Raiver, simultaneously pressing the answer button.

"Jieming, what is it?" Raiver asked lazily, his gaze still fixed on the dancing courtesans in the hall.

"Boss, the Roger Pirates have set sail again. According to intelligence, their target is Ohara in the West Sea."

As the strongest force in the New World, the Fengtian Empire's intelligence network spanned all four seas.

No movement escaped the Empire's notice.

A slight flicker passed through Raiver's eyes.

"Good, I understand."

He hung up.

"Roger... you've finally made your move."

He murmured to himself, smiling faintly:

"Let me give you a hand."

He turned to look at Xingmian:

"Call Ohara in the West Sea."

"Yes, Your Majesty!"

Xingmian skillfully dialed a number.

A moment later, the call connected.

"Hello, sir! What are your orders?"

The respectful voice of Dr. Clover came from the other end of the Den Den Mushi.

Ever since being saved by Raiver on Sabaody Archipelago six years ago, Dr. Clover had considered himself a subject of Raiver.

Ohara had also officially become an affiliated institution of the Fengtian Empire. Under the Empire's protection, they could continue researching the Void Century without any worries.

Raiver spoke slowly, "In a few days, the Roger Pirates will pay a visit to your Ohara."

Dr. Clover was taken aback.

"The Roger Pirates?"

"That's right." Raiver continued, "They will present some rubbings of Poneglyphs for you to examine.

If you can decipher the contents on them, they will likely invite you aboard their ship to help decipher these Poneglyphs and find the Final Island.

What you need to do then is interpret these Poneglyphs and read them aloud.

And explain to them that only by finding the four red Road Poneglyph Stone Tablets and deciphering the text on them can the Final Island be found."

Dr. Clover hurriedly picked up a pen and paper from beside him, ready to take notes.

"The whereabouts of those four red stone tablets—"

Raiver's voice slowly came through:

"The first is in the Sea Forest of Fish-Man Island."

"The second is in Big Mom's Treasure Chamber."

"The third is with the Kozuki Family in Wano Country."

"The fourth is on Zou Island."

Dr. Clover swiftly recorded everything.

"And the Final Island that the Roger Pirates seek to find should contain a detailed and complete record of the Void Century."

Dr. Clover's hand trembled.

The Void... Century?!

"You don't need me to say what to do next, do you?"

Dr. Clover took a deep breath, trying to calm his racing heart.

"Yes, sir! I understand what must be done!"

"Hmm."

The call ended.

Dr. Clover put down the receiver, looking at the notes in his hand, his hands shaking.

The Void Century... the Final Island...

"Doctor?" Olvia's voice came from behind him. "What happened?"

Dr. Clover turned to look at his most accomplished student, saying excitedly:

"Olvia, pack your bags. We... are setting sail."

...

Two days later.

West Blue, Ohara.

The Oro Jackson slowly sailed into the port.

Shanks and Buggy leaned over the ship's railing, wide-eyed as they gazed at the legendary island.

"Wow—what a huge tree!" Buggy exclaimed.

On the island, a towering giant tree stood majestically, its canopy blocking out the sky and covering nearly half the island.

That was the Tree of Omniscience, the world's largest tree and the location of Ohara's Library of the Tree of Omniscience.

Roger stood at the bow, grinning.

"Let's go, ashore."

The group disembarked and headed toward the Tree of Omniscience.

As soon as they reached the base of the tree, a group of people came to greet them.

Leading them was Dr. Clover.

Behind him were several scholars, including a young woman with silver-white hair—Nico Olvia.

"Captain Roger!" Dr. Clover warmly stepped forward:

"I've long heard of your name! I am Clover, the head of Ohara's Library of the Tree of Omniscience. Welcome to Ohara!"

Roger laughed heartily, getting straight to the point:

"Dr. Clover, we've come to ask for your help in examining something."

He gestured for Rayleigh to unroll the rubbings in front of everyone.

"These are rubbings of Poneglyphs we've collected from around the world.

We've heard you are the world's foremost archaeologists. Can you help us decipher these texts?"

Dr. Clover stepped forward, carefully examining the rubbings.

His eyes slowly scanned the ancient characters, gleaming with excitement.

After a moment, he looked up.

"Captain Roger, these characters... are indeed ancient script. Give me some time, and I can try to interpret them."

Roger was overjoyed: "Excellent!"

Dr. Clover and the scholars began studying the rubbings.

An hour later.

Dr. Clover finally looked up, his eyes filled with excitement.

"Captain Roger, these rubbings record... the history and legends of some ancient kingdoms.

But the most crucial information among them is—"

He paused, taking a deep breath:

"To find the true Final Island, you must first locate the four red Road Poneglyph Stone Tablets."

"Only by combining the information from the four stone tablets can the location of the Final Island be determined."

Everyone was stunned.

Road Poneglyphs? Four stone tablets?

"Where are these four stone tablets?" Roger asked urgently.

Dr. Clover smiled slightly.

"Coincidentally, through our years of research on ancient history, we happen to know some clues."

He took a hand-drawn map from the bookshelf and marked four points on it.

"The first one is in the Sea Forest of Fish-Man Island."

"The second one is in Big Mom's Treasure Chamber in the New World."

"The third one is with the Kozuki Family in Wano Country. They are said to be the carvers of the Poneglyph stones, inheriting the ability to read ancient texts through generations."

"The fourth one is on Zou Island in the New World—a country that moves on the back of an elephant."

Roger's eyes grew brighter and brighter.

Fish-Man Island... Big Mom... Wano Country... Zou Island...

All the clues were there!

He suddenly looked at Dr. Clover:

"Dr. Clover, please come to sea with us!"

Dr. Clover happily agreed and formed an exploration team to set sail with the Roger Pirates.

This exploration team also included Nico Olvia, who entrusted her 4-year-old daughter Nico Robin to her brother's family.
