Episode 2 â "Learning Earth"
Morning sunlight fills Aira's room.
Nova is standing by the window, completely still.
Outside, the street is loudâcars, people talking, dogs barking.
He watches everything like it's a puzzle.
Aira wakes up and sees him staring outside.
"You've been standing there all night, haven't you?"
Nova nods.
"Your planet does not enter full rest mode."
Aira sighs.
"That's called life."
She throws him a hoodie.
"Put this on. You can't walk around looking like you came from space."
Nova studies the hoodie like it's complicated technology.
After a moment, he puts it on⌠backwards.
Aira laughs.
"No, genius. The other way."

Later that day, Aira takes Nova outside for the first time.
The town feels overwhelming to him.
People walking everywhere.
Music from shops.
Kids playing.
Nova stops in the middle of the street.
"So many emotional signalsâŚ"
Aira raises an eyebrow.
"You can feel that?"
Nova nods.
"Your species broadcasts feelings constantly."
A group of kids runs past them, laughing loudly.
Nova watches them carefully.
"They appear⌠happy without reason."
Aira smiles.
"Yeah. Humans do that sometimes."

They pass a small food stand.
Aira buys two ice creams.
She hands one to Nova.
He examines it suspiciously.
"Cold sugar."
"Just eat it."
Nova takes a bite.
His eyes widen slightly.
"This is⌠surprisingly efficient."
Aira laughs.
"That's the most alien way to say something tastes good."
For the first time, Nova smiles a little.

On the way back, they walk through a park.
A small boy falls while running and starts crying.
Nova immediately moves toward him.
He kneels down.
"Are you damaged?"
The kid looks confused but stops crying.
Aira watches, amused.
Nova helps the kid stand up.
The child runs away again like nothing happened.
Nova looks puzzled.
"He was distressed. Now he is not."
Aira shrugs.
"That's how kids work."
Nova watches the boy disappear into the playground.
"Humans recover quickly."

That evening they sit on the rooftop of Aira's house.
The sky is dark, but the city lights hide most of the stars.
Nova looks up quietly.
"My world had skies filled with colors beyond this."
Aira lies back on the rooftop beside him.
"Then you'll have to show me someday."
Nova turns to look at her.
"For that to happen⌠I would need to stay."
Aira looks at him.
"And?"
Nova looks back at the sky.
"If I stay, my people will come."
Silence fills the rooftop.
Aira finally speaks.
"Well⌠if they come, we'll deal with it."
Nova studies her face.
"You show no fear."
She shrugs.
"I'm used to weird things now."
For a moment, the world feels calm.

Something massive moves silently through space.
A dark shape entering orbit.
Inside the vessel, cold lights glow.
A screen activates.
One signal appears.
ANOMALY LOCATED.
Back on Earth, Nova suddenly opens his eyes.
He whispers softlyâ
"They found me."
The wind moves across the rooftop.
And for the first time, Aira realizesâŚ
The universe might be coming for him.
