Chapter 30 - 30.RED[3]

30.RED[3]

Revet retracted himself from Berry's fist before the follow-up strike could land. Even so, the damage was done—blood gushed from his torso like a ruptured stream.

Revet chuckled.

The hole in his stomach sealed almost instantly, flesh knitting together as if time itself reversed. He had already anticipated it—the possibility that Berry might be stronger than him was never off the table.

Only one thought crossed his mind.

'Is that all…?'

He had expected far worse.

But the battle had only just begun, and both sides still had more than enough tricks hidden beneath the surface.

Berry flicked the blood off his hands, letting it splatter onto the ground.

"Super disgusting."

A cheap attempt at provocation.

Unfortunately for him, Revet had long since developed immunity to that—courtesy of constant exposure to the undisputed Lord of Ragebaits himself—Duran.

This wasn't just another clash.

This was a battle destined to be etched into the history of the Summoners' War. Both possessed monstrous strength—and more importantly, neither of them intended to win.

They were fighting to kill.

Revet vanished.

In the next instant, he reappeared upside down above Berry, palm already blazing. A burst of flames erupted downward, slamming Berry violently into the ground.

"Some cockroaches just refuse to die," Revet muttered, his voice edged with cold disdain.

The situation at the Dominion wasn't any better. The Defense and Attack Squadrons were engaged with hundreds of Ravter Abominations, holding the line while preventing them from encroaching further into the Heavenly Peak.

Ravter Abominations—monstrosities formed from corrupted spirit energy and high-quality souls. They possessed no sense of self, moving only to obey the commands of their maker, provided enough spirit energy was supplied to control them.

Their most menacing trait was their ability to disintegrate the souls of anything they consumed—be it mortal or god.

"8th Trigram, Scribble 1:—"

Aria chanted as talismans formed around four Class 5 Ravter Abominations, compressing them tightly within a confined space.

"Romoni no Amatori: Divine Purification."

The attack erased them completely—

reduced to absolute nothingness. It was the seventh technique she had released in succession.

"These bastards just keep coming, huh?!" she muttered, wiping the sweat from her face.

The ground trembled continuously from the techniques unleashed by the other summons.

Cassie and Famel continued their battle against the Class 9 Ravter Abomination. As expected, it wasn't an easy opponent. Its attacks lacked pattern, yet every strike carried lethal intent.

Famel sighed. "Cassie." He reached for his blindfold. "We've played enough. It's time to get serious."

A purple glow manifested before Cassie as she stretched out her hands. The light condensed—first forming an outline, then solidifying into a massive greatsword.

She gripped it tightly and swung, unleashing a powerful gust.

"I was already starting to get bored," she said, stepping forward as a violet aura flared around her.

Just as Famel was about to remove his blindfold, the Ravter Abomination struck—its four arms crashing down at once, forming a massive crater.

Famel stopped the attack with a single finger.

Golden ripples spread outward from the point of contact.

He opened his eyes.

They were mesmerizing—pure gold, marked with five circular rings embedded within them.

With a simple flick of his finger, the Ravter Abomination was hurled backward by the force of its own attack. Cassie moved instantly, cleaving off two of the creature's four arms—No.4's limbs severed cleanly.

Famel smiled. "I see you haven't lost your touch… Goddess of Great Swords."

Cassie met his gaze. "Your eyes are still as deadly as ever… Flash God of Muken," she replied.

No.4 struggled to rise from the crater it had created upon impact. It groaned as corrupted blood spilled from its severed limbs. Its grin twisted into a frown

The moment it regained its footing, it charged at them with everything it had—speed and strength pushed to their limits.

"Muken Technique, Form Three:"

Famel lowered his trident diagonally, crouching as his stance tightened close to the ground.

"Zennoth Great Sword Technique, Form One:"

Cassie pointed her blade forward, gripping it firmly as the earth cracked beneath her feet.

The instant No.4 took its next step, both of them moved in perfect sync—golden and violet streaks colliding in a single decisive motion.

"Youki Assault."

Famel severed its legs, head, and remaining arms in a flash.

"Ragatom!"

As the creature's head attempted to regenerate, Cassie followed through—thrusting her greatsword forward and obliterating the Ravter Abomination into fragments.

They made one thing clear.

They were gods.

And it was nothing more than a decorated beast.

"Nice work!" Cassie said, giving Famel a thumbs up.

Famel shrugged lightly. "We should go assist the others at the front lines."

Asmaroth's battle with the little girl was far from concluding. The child was hell-bent on killing her, and her emerald eyes were no trivial threat. Not only could they deflect attacks and displace spirit energy, but they also stored the very energy they displaced. This unique property formed the foundation of the Emerald Eyes Technique.

It allowed the user to release massive amounts of spirit energy in a single burst while simultaneously enhancing their physical prowess and overall abilities.

The little girl's green eyes shone even brighter as her spiritual pressure intensified, cracking the earth beneath her feet.

"Emerald Eyes Technique, Column Seven:"

She displaced her position instantly, appearing above Asmaroth, then unleashed a massive burst of spirit energy from her palm—her other arm gripping tightly to suppress the violent aftershock.

"Overloaded Blast!" she exclaimed.

Behind the Dominion, two male figures crept forward, attempting to infiltrate Revet's domain. They looked exactly alike—identical twins in every sense.

" finally, some action."

Lovian stepped out from the shadows, accompanied by Reima and Shina.

The intruders had assumed they would go unnoticed amidst the chaos unfolding at the gates. However, they had overlooked one critical detail—the Surveillance Squadron had been specifically assigned to monitor the rear gate and eliminate any intruders.

"I think I'm going to sit this one out," Shina said, observing that there were only two intruders against the three of them.

"My lady."

The twin brothers began duplicating themselves rapidly.

"That won't be a problem."

All the doubles spoke at once, their voices perfectly synchronized.
