The Final Farewell – Young Wolf's Path to the Sky Island
The Team Prepares to Head Home… but Andras Has Other Plans
The ruins slowly fell silent.
Umbra and the great shadow demon were now only memories.
The team caught their breath and prepared to head back to Wolf Lodge.
But suddenly…
Anita collapsed.
Fireburp fell over like a sack of flour.
Ironclaw dropped to the ground, snoring.
Andrea snapped her head up.
"What the—?!"
Ersi stepped forward, a faint blue light glowing in her hand.
"Sleeping spell. Strong. Precise."
Then she looked at Andras.
"As you asked."
Andras nodded.
"Thank you, Ersi. Those three are too impulsive. They can't come with me where I'm going now."
The Farewell Begins – Ersi's Confession
Ersi stepped slowly in front of Andras.
Her eyes shimmered — not from magic.
"I… would have loved to adventure with you for centuries."
Andras smiled.
"I know. But I came to this world because of the Demon King. This is my mission. I have to fulfill it."
Ersi's lips trembled.
"Will I see you again?"
Andras gently placed a hand on her shoulder.
"Don't worry. I won't die. Only this body will be destroyed. My soul will return to the Sky Island."
Ersi sniffed.
"So… you'll adventure with your real self after this."
Andras laughed.
"There are no adventures on the Sky Island. Only endless hard training… and fun."
Ersi pouted.
"Screw you, real Eli!"
Andrea and Eris Say Goodbye
Andrea stepped forward, knelt, and bowed.
"Young Wolf… it was an honor to serve you. The Wolfwood house will be forever grateful."
Andras nodded.
"Wolfwood will belong to Noelle. After Carla, she is the most worthy heir. As a half‑elf, she can lead it for half a century."
Andrea's tears fell.
"Glory to the Wolfwood house forever!"
Eris Scarlett stepped closer.
"I always thought… the Demon King was my destiny. That I was the chosen one to defeat him. But… you were the true Hero."
Andras shook his head.
"No. You are the chosen hero, Eris. It's just… in this era, one Hero wasn't enough against the Demon King."
Eris's eyes filled with tears.
"Then… what should I do?"
Andras:
"If I blow up the dark core, the Demon King's body will collapse. And you… will finish the remains with the power of light. That's how we defeat him. Together."
Eris lowered her head.
"I understand. And… thank you."
The Plan – The Final Sacrifice
Andras looked at Ersi.
"Give me that damn magic staff."
Ersi shoved it into his hand, pouting.
"If you deactivate the runes, it'll explode so hard it could wipe out an entire city."
Andras:
"That's exactly what I need. I'll enter the Demon King's dimension and blow up the dark core. That destroys his body. Eris finishes the rest."
Ersi shouted:
"But you won't survive!"
Andras shrugged.
"As much as I'd love to stay with you all… my sacrifice is nothing compared to saving the world."
Andrea:
"What should we tell the others?"
Andras:
"Tell them I fought the Demon King one‑on‑one, and we killed each other. Technically… it'll be true. Only the cool final battle will be missing."
Ersi snorted:
"Yeah, because you're not the Hero… just an average agent… from where again?"
Andras smiled.
"From Earth. Earth is full of average heroes. I was just one of many. A simple gamer. A Hungarian kid from the Highlands. Nothing more, nothing less."
The Final Step – Andras Enters the Demon King's Dimension
The air trembled.
The dimensional gate opened.
On the other side, the Demon King's black cocoon pulsed — massive, motionless, yet alive.
Andras gave the team a cool wave.
"Take care of each other. And of Noelle."
Ersi sobbed.
Andrea cried.
Eris Scarlett stood silently, gripping her sword.
Andras stepped through the gate.
The dimension closed.
The Explosion – The Demon King's Body Falls Apart
Inside, Andras deactivated the runes.
The magic staff glowed.
The dark core began to tremble.
Then…
IT EXPLODED.
The dimension shook.
The Demon King's body disintegrated.
The black cocoon shattered into pieces.
The gate opened for a brief moment.
Eris Scarlett stepped forward.
Her sword shone with pure light.
"For the world… and for him."
The power of light sliced through the remains.
The Demon King was destroyed forever.
The World Is Saved – Young Wolf Dies a Hero's Death
The gate closed.
The team stood in silence.
Ersi collapsed to her knees.
Andrea lowered her head.
Eris Scarlett's tears streamed down her face.
"Andras Wolfwood… Young Wolf… died a hero's death."
The wind swept across the ruins.
As if the world itself was saying goodbye.
Two Weeks Later – The World Moves On Without Him
After the Grief – The Team Slowly Breathes Again
Two weeks had passed since Young Wolf's heroic death.
The world was saved, the Demon King destroyed, and the darkness had retreated.
But the members of the team…
were no longer the same.
The first days of grief were painful, especially for those closest to him.
But Andras had always said:
"Always forward. Never look back."
And they… tried to follow that.
Only Ersi, Andrea and Eris Scarlett knew the truth:
that Young Wolf did not come from this world,
that he was Uriel's secret agent,
that his death was not defeat, but a return to the Sky Island.
For everyone else, only the legend remained:
The Hero who faced the Demon King alone, and whose body — along with the Demon King's — turned to dust in the final battle.
Noelle and Ersi – The New Leaders of Wolf Lodge
In the imperial merchant city, Wolf Lodge was alive again.
Noelle and Ersi ran the inn together.
Noelle quietly, gently, but firmly.
Ersi… well, in Ersi's way:
a little chaotic, a little brilliant, a little too much magic.
But it worked.
The guests loved them.
The city respected them.
And the legacy of the Wolfwood house lived on.
Sometimes, at night, when no one saw her, Ersi still sniffled.
"I'll see you again… right?" she whispered to the stars.
And though no answer came…
deep down she knew:
Andras's soul was watching over them.
Andrea and Eris Scarlett – The Northern Heroes
Andrea and Eris headed north.
After the Demon King's fall, new evils rose:
shadow knights,
fallen mages,
demon remnants,
and creatures who had lost their master with Umbra's death.
Andrea cleansed the northern lands with the power of wind,
Eris Scarlett with the power of light and fire.
The two of them…
forged a new legend.
And after every victory, Eris whispered softly:
"Young Wolf… I hope you see this."
Anita and Fireburp – The Southern Hunters
Anita and Fireburp went south.
Not out of heroism.
Not out of duty.
But because:
killing demons was fun,
collecting points was even better — even if they no longer needed them,
and Fireburp believed every day should include at least one explosion.
The southern villages feared demons…
but when Anita and Fireburp arrived, the demons feared the villages.
Their legend spread quickly:
"The Maniacs of Ice and Fire."
And they enjoyed every moment.
Ironclaw – Returning to Wolfwood
Ironclaw, the earth‑wolf beast girl, returned to the city of Wolfwood.
There, Carla — Young Wolf's mother in this world — awaited her.
Ironclaw knelt before her.
"Carla… Young Wolf is gone. But I… will protect you for the rest of my life."
Carla stroked her head.
"Thank you, Ironclaw. He would have wanted that."
And so it became:
Ironclaw became the guardian of Wolfwood.
She protected Carla for the rest of her life —
and later Noelle as well, when the girl inherited the Wolfwood house.
The townsfolk called her:
"The Wolf Who Served the Last Wolfwood."
The World Lives On – Young Wolf's Legacy
Years passed.
The world slowly healed.
The Demon King was dead.
Umbra destroyed.
The darkness retreated.
But the name of Young Wolf…
remained forever.
Bards sang of him.
Children played as him.
Heroes honored him.
Villains feared him.
And though the team had gone their separate ways…
they all looked at the same star each night.
The one Andras came from.
The one he returned to.
The light of the Sky Island.
