Hogwarts' Magical Food God

Hogwarts Animagus Chaos

When curious pranksters approached them to ask what they were so busy with, the twins would either smile mysteriously and refuse to answer, or they would brush them off with vague excuses like "conducting some great experiments" or "accumulating capital for a more glorious future of mischief."

Then they would hurry away, usually heading toward the eighth floor or directly toward the Care of Magical Creatures professor's office.

This abnormal behavior naturally sparked a wave of low-key gossip.

"They're definitely cooking up something massive!" a third-year Gryffindor declared with absolute certainty.

"Maybe it's a new product, like fireworks that can fill the entire Great Hall with the smell of Dungbombs!" another Hufflepuff guessed, his tone a mix of awe and anticipation.

"I heard they've been running to Professor Scamander's office a lot lately. Maybe they're learning how to train Crups to be even better at causing chaos?" A Ravenclaw's deduction sounded slightly more "academic."

Regardless, in the minds of Hogwarts' little troublemakers, the "mystery project" involving the Weasley twins and Boss Tom had already become one of the most tantalizing unsolved mysteries of October.

---

Amidst this ordinary yet unusual buzz, time quietly slipped into the third week of October.

On a Thursday evening, the typical leaden-grey clouds of the Scottish Highlands hung low, and the lamps inside the castle were lit early.

Up on the eighth floor, behind the heavy wooden door of the Care of Magical Creatures professor's office, the massive metal door remained tightly sealed, isolating every sound from within.

However, at a certain moment—

"YEAH!!! IT WORKED!!!"

"This is incredible! Fred, did you see that?! He actually responded!"

Two exhausted yet purely ecstatic cheers practically blew the roof off, exploding from behind the metal door.

Even through the heavy soundproofing magic, a few stray decibels of pure hype leaked out, echoing faintly down the quiet corridor.

Inside the metal doors, in the center of The Ark laboratory.

Under the bright magical lights, George and Fred Weasley were holding their red-and-white Pokédexes high in the air.

They were jumping up and down like they had just won the Quidditch World Cup, their faces overflowing with pure, childish, overwhelming joy.

Their heavy dark circles were even more pronounced against the excited flush on their cheeks. Their hair was a total rat's nest from days of neglect, but their spirits were cranked to the absolute maximum.

But the most eye-catching part was what was sitting on their shoulders.

Perched securely on George's right shoulder was a round, plump Niffler with glossy black fur and a long, duck-like snout.

It seemed totally infected by George's excitement. Clutching a silver Sickle it had just "borrowed" from George's pocket in its tiny paws, it squeaked excitedly. Its beady black eyes scrunched up into happy little slits as it affectionately nuzzled George's cheek.

Hovering over Fred's left shoulder was a bizarre, yet fascinating little creature—a Caipora.

It was covered in fluffy, almost translucent silver-grey down. Its body looked like a drifting puff of mist, the edges of its fur twinkling faintly like starlight.

It didn't have fixed facial features. Instead, where a face should be, there were simply two obsidian-like points of light that sparked with mischief, and a crescent-shaped streak of light that occasionally flashed into a wicked little "grin."

It lacked solid arms or legs, but several thicker, mist-like tendrils would occasionally dart out from its fluff, wriggling with surprising agility.

Right now, the little Caipora was doing graceful, airy laps around Fred's head, chiming with a sound like wind chimes—crisp, musical, and laced with pure mischief.

Every so often, it would suddenly accelerate and gently "bump" Fred's ear with its fluffy, misty body, or shoot out a tendril to quickly tickle the back of his neck, making Fred laugh and shrink away.

This little prankster spirit was clearly perfectly in sync with Fred; every movement carried a sense of deep intimacy and a shared, secret understanding.

This kind of natural affection and chemistry between the twins and the two magical creatures was definitely not built in a single day.

Clearly, during the high-intensity "R&D assistance" and "beta testing" of the past two weeks, they hadn't just built a deep "Virtual Bond" with these little guys from Viktor's suitcase. They had genuinely earned their trust and affection in reality as well.

---

Leaning against the impeccably organized workbench, Viktor Scamander watched the scene unfold, the most relaxed and gratified smile he'd worn in days spreading across his face.

He had taken off his protective lab coat, changing back into his usual dark casual wear. He looked visibly tired, but his eyes were bright and clear.

On the workbench beside him sat the final batch: dozens of brand-new, completely finished red-and-white Pokédexes, stacked in perfect rows.

They gleamed softly under the lights, looking like soldiers awaiting inspection.

And sitting quietly in a corner not far away were several heavy crates, packed tight with even more completed Pokédexes.

This was the culmination of the past two weeks. The result of Viktor, Tom, and the Weasley twins working day and night, pouring everything they had into this project.

From finalizing the underlying theories, locking in the runic arrays, and optimizing and debugging the magical circuits...

To the tedious but hyper-critical mass-engraving of the foundational Ancient Runes, the alchemical treatment of the outer casings, and the embedding and activation of the core magical stones...

Every single step was built on pure blood, sweat, and tears.

Tom's assistance capabilities had far exceeded Viktor's wildest imaginations.

Using his supernatural perception, he helped Viktor calibrate the most microscopic fluctuations in the magical currents. He manipulated the observation crystals with his paws to record data, and even ran tools and materials back and forth.

And on top of that, he would occasionally just pull out that ridiculous, physics-defying hammer of his, give something a massive whack, and instantly generate a perfect result. He was, without a doubt, the ultimate deputy.

The twins, however, had blown Viktor's expectations completely out of the water.

Not only did they rapidly master the techniques for processing base materials and engraving runes...

But their natural aptitude for hands-on work, their intuitive grasp of magical mechanics, and their absolute refusal to fear failure drastically accelerated the entire production timeline.

This was especially true for the engraving work. Carving the foundational Ancient Runes was excruciatingly precise and mind-numbingly boring, requiring thousands upon thousands of repetitions.

But the twins—driven by staggering patience and likely fueled by a burning anticipation for the final product—somehow managed to grit their teeth and push through it, saving Viktor a massive amount of time and energy.

It was entirely because of them that this substantial, highly stable, first-generation batch of "Pokédexes" had been finished in just two short weeks.

Watching the twins celebrate with their new magical partners, Viktor knew the final, most crucial test—the "Contract Response" and "Emotional Link" synchronization—was an absolute, undeniable success.

It proved his entire design philosophy was flawless. The Pokédex wasn't just a learning tool; it was a genuine bridge, capable of fostering true understanding and friendship between young wizards and magical creatures.
