Chapter 32 - taken

The night wasn't over.

Not yet.

Kiara stood near the window, fixing her dress.

Everything felt different.

Lighter.

Dangerous in a new way.

Behind her—

Aarav watched her.

Silent.

But his eyes said everything.

"Don't look at me like that," Kiara said softly.

Aarav smirked faintly.

"Like what?"

Kiara turned slightly.

"Like I'm yours."

Aarav didn't hesitate.

"You are."

Kiara's breath hitched.

But before she could reply—

A loud crash echoed downstairs.

Both of them froze.

Aarav's expression changed instantly.

Alert.

Sharp.

"Stay here."

Kiara shook her head.

"No chance."

Another noise.

This time louder.

Voices.

Strangers.

Aarav grabbed her hand.

"Stay behind me."

They rushed downstairs.

The main door was broken open.

Security—

Down.

Unconscious.

Kiara's heart dropped.

"This is not Vikram's style…"

Aarav's eyes darkened.

"No."

He already knew.

Before they could react—

Masked men surrounded them.

Weapons pointed.

"Mrs. Kapoor," one of them said.

"You're coming with us."

Aarav stepped in front of her instantly.

"Touch her and you're dead."

The man laughed.

"Move aside."

Aarav didn't.

The first attack came fast.

Aarav fought back.

Hard.

Precise.

Two men down within seconds.

Kiara grabbed a nearby object—

Hit another attacker.

But they were outnumbered.

One of the men grabbed Kiara from behind.

Aarav turned—

"KIARA!"

She struggled.

"Leave me!"

Aarav moved forward—

But someone hit him hard from the side.

He staggered.

That one second—

Was enough.

They dragged Kiara toward the exit.

She fought.

Kicked.

Resisted.

But they forced her into a car.

"AARAV!"

Her scream echoed.

The car sped away.

Silence.

Dead silence.

Aarav stood there.

Breathing heavily.

Eyes dark.

Empty.

Then—

His expression changed.

Not panic.

Not fear.

Something worse.

Rage.

Pure.

Dangerous.

Uncontrollable.

He picked up his phone.

Dialed one number.

"Track every exit road," he said coldly.

"Block the city if you have to."

A pause.

Then—

"No one touches her and survives."

Across the city—

In a dark room—

Kiara was pushed inside.

The door slammed shut.

A shadow stepped forward.

Slowly.

Clapping.

"Finally," he said.

Kiara's eyes hardened.

"…Arjun."

He smiled.

Cold.

Obsessed.

"Took you long enough to come back to me."

Back at the mansion—

Aarav looked toward the night.

Because now—

This wasn't just war.

This was personal.

And he was about to destroy anyone who stood in his way.
