Maya's POV
The morning sun painted golden streaks across the vineyard as Sebastian and I prepared for what would be one of our most meaningful family moments. Before we left for the Aethelgard Cellarmastery Expo, we wanted to share our precious secret with everyone we loved most. The timing felt perfect with the whole family gathered at the estate.
We arranged breakfast on the mansion's spacious terrace that overlooked the rolling vineyard hills. The long table sparkled with our finest china, vibrant garden flowers, and at the very center sat an unassuming cake that held our biggest surprise. The inside would reveal either pink or blue, telling everyone whether we were having a son or daughter.
Sebastian and I already knew the answer, but sharing it this way felt magical and special.
"What kind of surprise are you two cooking up now?" Arthur asked, his eyes dancing with mischief as he stared at the plain cake with obvious suspicion.
