Pain explodes from my nose. The floor greets me much faster than expected.
Great.
Fortunately, I'm used to pain so it doesn't hurt that bad but I'm pretty sure I have a small nose bleed. Laughter erupts from the classroom as everyone stares at me. Mission Successful: I have planted the image of Elara Ward into their head, clumsy, frail, fragile….weak. I make people see what they want to see. I don't need to lie, people lie to themselves.
I tilt up my head slightly and glance to the corner of my eyes. It was a foot pulling back. So that makes sense. Someone must've tripped me and I know exactly who it is.
I slowly got up making sure my arms and legs were struggling to stabilise me. I turn my head over to the direction of the foot until my eyes were locked into hers. I knew it.

Yep Juno Han definitely matched this description. I open my eyes in disbelief with tears flowing down my cheecks. In order to fool your enemies, you must fool yourself. You need to think thoughts like 'Why did you do this?' 'How could this be?' 'What did I do to deserve this?' 'I feel so betrayed.' My shoulders tremble whilst my hands were clutching my hoodie.
"That seemed like a nasty fall" Juno says whilst chuckling, "I wonder how clumsy you are."
"We don't have all day," the instructor sighs, massaging his forehead. I continue walking towards the punching bag . In order to seem unstable, I must make it seem I can't control my strength, even if it means shocking myself. The punching bag is staring at me. All I need to do is wack it with my full strength ability. I take a very shaky stance so im perceived as untrained. I punch with excessive force deliberately setting of my ankle monitor. The punching bag is sent flying to the wall causing cracks. I scream as my body throbs with pain. I fall on the floor as loud beeping sounds penetrate my ears. The pain lasts a few seconds until the beeping stops. Now this is what is meant by 'no pain no gain.' Trembling, I get up.
"I need a new punching bag here, Sector 4, Class A," the instructor commands whilst holding a telephone to his ear. The instructor directs me to sit back to my seat. I walk towards my empty chair but an obstacle emerges in my pathway.
"Hey! I'm also a brute , nice to meet you I'm Jaxen!" He holds his hand out waiting for me to shake it. He's loud. Too loud. I scan his posture: shoulders back, weight on heels. He's confident maybe even arrogant. A perfect meat shield! If I stay close to the loudest boy then no one will notice the quiet girl hiding in his shadow. Then no one will suspect me. This is also a great opportunity to stabilise my strength ability. I accept his handshake whilst still shivering.
"I hope we can spar and become great rivals!"
Jaxen says. I whisper nervously, "Yeah..me too." I walk past him, acting embarrassed and forcing a blush, towards my seat.

I'm glad that my super strength was no longer decaying. My Copycat ability may seem overpowered but without a steady source it begins to decay and become no longer useable.
I sit down at my desk which is next to Sana's.
"You did good, you should be proud of your power," Sana emphatically says. I nod in response.
Atleast my emotions are somewhat true that way I don't have to try so much to hide them from the empath. When that ability is used in the right wa..
it could become a lie detector.
Now that I think about it, that is a great ability to copy.
