Rahim and Karim quickly turned toward the cave entrance. A dark shadow was moving slowly.
Karim whispered, "Rahim… it's him."
Rahim nodded.
"Yes. Mr. Roy followed us."
The cave became very quiet. Only the soft sound of water could be heard.
The shadow came closer.
Soon, Mr. Roy stepped into the light.
He looked at Rahim and Karim and then at the glowing crystal on the stone platform.
"So, you brought it back here," he said with a smile.
Karim felt scared but stayed behind Rahim.
Rahim said bravely, "You cannot take it."
Mr. Roy laughed.
"You think you can stop me?"
He slowly walked forward.
The wolf near the crystal stood up and growled loudly.
Mr. Roy stopped.
"What is this animal?" he asked.
Rahim said, "It is the guardian of the crystal."
Mr. Roy looked at the wolf carefully.
Then he smiled.
"Just an animal. I am not afraid."
He took a step forward.
The wolf growled louder and showed its teeth.
Karim whispered, "Rahim, this is dangerous."
Rahim said, "Stay back."
Mr. Roy picked up a long stick from the ground.
He moved it toward the wolf.
"Move away," he said.
The wolf did not move.
Instead, it stepped closer and growled.
Suddenly, Mr. Roy tried to scare the wolf by hitting the ground with the stick.
The sound echoed in the cave.
The wolf became angry.
It jumped forward with a loud growl.
Mr. Roy quickly stepped back.
He almost fell.
Karim said, "The wolf is protecting the crystal!"
Rahim nodded.
"Yes. It will not let him take it."
Mr. Roy looked angry now.
"This is not over," he said.
He looked around and saw some stones.
He picked one up and threw it toward the wolf.
The wolf moved quickly and avoided it.
Then it moved closer again.
Mr. Roy became nervous.
Rahim said loudly, "Stop! You cannot take the crystal."
Mr. Roy shouted, "You don't understand! That crystal has great power!"
Rahim said, "We know. That is why we will protect it."
Karim added, "You cannot use it for wrong things."
Mr. Roy looked at them with anger.
"You are just children. You don't know anything!"
Suddenly, the crystal started glowing brighter.
The blue light filled the cave.
Everyone stopped.
The light became stronger and stronger.
Rahim looked at the crystal.
"What is happening?" he said.
Karim said, "Maybe the crystal is reacting!"
The light from the crystal spread across the walls.
The strange symbols on the cave walls started shining.
Mr. Roy looked surprised.
"This is the power…" he whispered.
Rahim felt something strange.
The crystal was not just glowing.
It was showing something.
A light path appeared on the ground again.
But this time, it led deeper into the cave.
Karim said, "Rahim, look! Another path!"
Mr. Roy saw it too.
"Yes… this is what I was looking for," he said.
He quickly tried to move toward the path.
But the wolf stood in front of him.
It blocked his way.
Mr. Roy shouted, "Move!"
The wolf did not move.
Rahim quickly stepped forward.
"We will follow the path, not you," he said.
Karim stood beside him.
"Yes."
Mr. Roy looked angry and frustrated.
He could not move forward.
The wolf was still guarding the way.
Rahim said, "Karim, let's go."
They slowly followed the glowing path.
The cave became darker as they went deeper.
The light from the crystal guided them.
Karim said, "This is leading somewhere important."
Rahim nodded.
"Yes. Maybe this is the real secret."
Behind them, Mr. Roy tried to follow.
But the wolf stayed behind them.
It did not let him pass.
Mr. Roy shouted, "Come back!"
But the boys did not stop.
They followed the light.
After some time, they reached another hidden chamber.
This room was different.
The walls were covered with symbols.
In the middle, there was a stone door.
Karim said, "What is this place?"
Rahim said, "I think this is another secret."
The crystal glowed brighter again.
The stone door slowly started opening.
Karim looked amazed.
"This is unbelievable!"
Rahim said, "The crystal is opening it."
The door opened slowly.
Inside, there was darkness.
Rahim took a deep breath.
"Are you ready?" he asked.
Karim nodded.
"Yes."
They stepped inside together.
Behind them, the cave was still glowing.
The wolf was guarding the path.
And Mr. Roy was left behind.
