Walking alongside Simon, Valeria climbed the stairs to the cruise ship where they would have dinner. When they reached the deck, it was already bustling with other guests. They sipped their drinks and nibbled on snacks at the bow of the ship, waiting for the sunset.
"Drinks, ma'am, sir?" asked a waiter who approached them carrying a tray with several glasses of drinks.
Valeria took a glass of white wine, while Simon took a glass of sherry. They walked to the ship's railing, waiting for the ship to set sail while watching the sunset.
"The sunset from this cruise ship is absolutely beautiful. You're going to love it," Simon said to Valeria before turning his gaze back toward the ocean.
He remarked on how beautiful the ocean was at that moment, soon to be bathed in the orange glow of the setting sun. Valeria agreed, but she also mentioned that she didn't particularly like the ocean.
