With some rather important business to attend to, Dominic took Valeria to a villa owned by his friend, James. The man he'd met at the restaurant earlier. Valeria, who still didn't want to return to their cottage, chose to go along rather than take a taxi back.
"He invited us over to his place to talk about a few things. He manages several villas around here," Dominic explained, glancing at his wife.
"So, in other words, he's a businessman? No surprise there, you hang out with people like that. Then why did you want to bring me along too?" Valeria asked, glancing at Dominic.
"Because you'd get bored going back to the cabin alone, so I brought you. Or would you rather just go back to the cabin?"
She shook her head, she didn't want to be alone in the cabin because she'd die of boredom. "Alright, I guess it's not a bad idea to come along. I'm curious to see what your friend's villa looks like."
