Finally, the Ice Monster had evolved.
No one knew the reason, but a heavy sense of disaster hung in the air.
Using its new, powerful wings, the creature suddenly took flight.
It disappeared into the dark distance, leaving a trail of frost behind.
Meanwhile, Commander Elvis, Rayna, and Helo had already left the hospital.
It was around 9 PM.
As soon as they stepped outside, they saw it—the same Ice Monster soaring through the night sky.
Their eyes widened in pure shock.
"Rayna, Helo," Elvis said, his voice grim.
"We need to report everything that happened here to the Solar High Council."
Elvis immediately opened his phone.
He sent an urgent report to the private group of the Solar High Council.
"Commander Elvis reporting. We have a 'Code Void' situation."
"A soldier in Burnout State, Liuke, eliminated a Special Grade entity at the cost of his physical existence."
"However, the entity has shown signs of 'Resurrection Evolution.'"
"We need immediate backup before Pipon City falls into the Eternal Freeze."
Five minutes later, a reply arrived.
The message was brief and cold.
It ordered Elvis and his squad to report physically to the High Council headquarters.
The headquarters were located in Helmora, specifically within Auroira City.
Elvis sent a quick confirmation.
"Commander, when will we leave for Auroira City?" Helo asked.
"The council hasn't given a date," Elvis replied.
"But we won't take any risks. We're leaving tomorrow."
Amidst all this tension, Elysia finally opened her eyes.
A nurse was standing beside her bed, adjusting the IV drip.
"Ms. Elysia, it's great that you've regained consciousness," the nurse said.
"Please, try not to move too much."
"What… what happened to me?" Elysia whispered.
"I can't remember anything properly."
"It seems you've lost most of your memory of the incident," the nurse explained.
"That's okay. Right now, you need rest."
"It's almost a miracle that your abdomen regenerated on its own."
Elysia looked confused. "Abdomen? Regenerated? I don't understand."
Seeing her distress, the nurse stopped asking questions and let her rest.
Meanwhile, Liuke's condition in the ICU was extremely critical.
He was hooked up to blood transfusion bottles and an oxygen mask.
CT scans revealed that while his bones were intact, his flesh had been decimated.
His right arm was the worst.
Most of the muscle had been completely burned away, leaving only charred bone.
It looked as if the extreme heat had evaporated every drop of blood inside him.
The operation finally ended as the morning sun rose.
His condition stabilized slightly, but his organs were barely functioning.
The doctors had no choice.
They had to amputate his right arm.
There was no tissue left to save—only dead bone that would never move again.
Liuke had lost his arm.
He was still alive, but he remained deep in an unconscious state.
On the other side of the hospital, Elysia was sitting up in her bed.
"Doctor… is Liuke okay?" she asked desperately.
"Forget about me, please tell me about him."
"Liuke is alive," the doctor said softly.
"But his condition is still very critical. He is still unconscious."
"It may take weeks, or even months, for him to recover."
"Until then, he needs continuous blood transfusions and oxygen support."
Elysia's eyes filled with tears.
"Oh, Liuke… why did you risk your life for me?"
"Maybe all of this happened because of me."
"Please don't blame yourself," the doctor insisted.
"None of this is your fault."
Elysia wiped her eyes.
"Doctor, can I be discharged by this evening?"
"I want to see Liuke first… and then go home."
"Yes," the doctor nodded. "You are almost completely recovered. You can leave by evening."
By 11 AM the next day, Elvis had arrived in Auroira City.
He stood before the massive, imposing headquarters of the Solar High Council.
He entered the building with Rayna and Helo at his side.
Five elders of the council were already waiting in the main chamber.
They had postponed all other business to hear about the Ice Monster.
"Go quickly," a council member whispered. "The elders are waiting."
They entered the grand chamber. The Third Elder spoke first.
"Elvis, Chief Commander of Pipon City. Something terrifying happened yesterday."
"The threat of Ice Monsters has increased. Give us your complete report."
Elvis took a deep breath and began.
"Yes, sir. Yesterday, we received reports of a monster at Radiant Plaza."
"I went there with my squad. Krayne and Stean were killed in action."
"We tried everything, but the monster escaped."
He continued, his voice steadying.
"Later, an ex-Solar Soldier named Liuke managed to eliminate it."
"However, around 9 PM, that same monster resurrected and evolved."
"Liuke used all his energy to defeat it and is currently hospitalized."
"In my opinion, that monster was a Special Grade entity."
"So, My Grace… what are your orders?"
The five elders whispered among themselves for several minutes.
Finally, the Head Elder spoke.
"We have reached a decision."
"We will send the Stealth Force to watch over Liuke."
"If anything unusual happens, they will report back to us."
"At the same time, we will deploy the Track Force to find the monster."
He paused, his eyes narrowing.
"We also want to study the Solar Energy inside Liuke."
"We will begin once he recovers."
Elvis stiffened. "Understood, My Grace. Permission to leave."
"You may go," the elders answered in unison.
Outside the chamber, Elvis's face was flushed with frustration.
"I don't like this at all," he growled.
"Instead of understanding the threat, they just want to study a half-dead boy."
"It's like they don't care about human lives at all."
"Commander, there's nothing we can do," Helo sighed.
"They are our superiors."
"It's not right," Elvis muttered.
"First they kicked him out because of 'Burnout State.' Now they want to use him as a lab rat. Hypocrites."
Rayna looked at him. "So what should we do now, Commander?"
"Nothing," Elvis replied bitterly.
"There's nothing we can do. Let's return to Pipon City."
