Chapter 4
The System That Remembered Her Name
The gate of the Old Tower closed slowly behind Yiyii.
The sound was heavy.
Like a coffin being locked from the inside.
The corridor stretched endlessly.
Black walls cracked along the sides.
Ancient symbols moved slowly—like they were breathing.
Leviathan walked half a step behind her.
Always behind her.
Always.
Yiyii touched one of the broken walls.
Beneath the modern stone layer—
There was an older carving.
Deep.
Sharp.
A name engraved as if the world had once hated it.
C I F E R
Yiyii read it unconsciously.
"…Cifer."
In that instant—
The tower trembled.
Symbols lit up one by one.
The air grew heavy.
The innermost gate slowly opened.
Leviathan immediately dropped to his knees.
"You have returned… Eisteth."
Silence.
Yiyii didn't answer right away.
She was confused.
And then she noticed—
She could see it.
A floating system window.
Like a monitor screen in front of her eyes.
System: Identity recognized. Core status reloading. Instructions pending.
"Damn… I hate working hard," she muttered.
She stared at Leviathan's back.
At his kneeling posture.
At loyalty that felt too absolute.
Then slowly—
She smiled.
Not a cute smile.
Not a confused smile.
A smile far too calm.
"…Eisteth, huh."
(Inside she was panicking. But acting along with the system prompts.)
Suddenly—
She felt sleepy.
And in that moment—
The real Eisteth awakened.
"Levia. Stand up."
Her voice was soft.
But it no longer sounded human.
Old History
Leviathan spoke with his head lowered.
"You created the system to end the ancient war."
"And Cifer rejected it."
Yiyii blinked awake slightly, confused.
She walked past him.
Her steps were slower now.
More graceful.
"He wanted freedom."
"Yes."
"And I wanted control."
Leviathan fell silent.
Because the way she said that—
Wasn't like someone hearing it for the first time.
It sounded like someone remembering it.
But Leviathan misunderstood what she meant.
With the wrong enthusiasm, he thought she was firmly defending her ideology.
Meanwhile, Yiyii was thinking something entirely different—
Reuniting two tragic lovers.
You know.
Leviathan and Cifer.
BL Interruption (But Darker)
Yiyyi stopped.
She looked at Leviathan.
"You waited for him 6,666 centuries?"
"…Yes."
"You stayed in this tower?"
"Yes."
"You maintained the system so the seal wouldn't collapse?"
"…Yes."
A long silence.
Yiyyi narrowed her eyes.
"That's romantic."
Leviathan lifted his head.
"…Pardon?"
"Sealed king. Loyal right-hand man. Ideological conflict. Thousands of years of slow burn."
She touched her chin.
"Classic BL."
The tower fell into sudden silence.
From inside the seal—
Cifer opened his eyes.
For the first time in thousands of years—
He heard light laughter.
Yiyii smiled.
But this time—
Her smile was too sharp.
"I'm still a BL fan."
She looked at the seal.
"But don't misunderstand."
Her eyes darkened.
"I also enjoy tragedy."
Yiyii's Dark Side
The symbols on the wall began spinning faster.
The system reread her existence.
Status: Eisteth – Princess of Hell
Status: Former Human
Status: Otaku Anomaly
Yiyii stared at the glowing system notifications.
Like someone staring at a computer screen after overtime.
Her face looked tired.
"In the human world, I worked myself to exhaustion."
She stepped closer to the core of the seal.
"Here, I created a system so everything would be organized."
She touched the air in front of the seal.
The crack widened slightly.
"But apparently… order is just another kind of prison."
Leviathan felt the pressure in the air increase.
Yiyii's aura changed.
More violet.
Colder.
"Do you know why I made the system?" she asked softly.
Leviathan bowed deeper.
"To stop the war."
"No."
She smiled faintly.
"To help you meet Cifer."
Silence.
That sentence hit Leviathan like a falling boulder.
The Voice From Inside the Seal
"Eisteth."
A deep, low voice echoed from within.
Cifer teleported in front of Yiyii.
Her violet eyes glowed softly.
A ring of light floated above her head.
Small demon horns curved from her temples.
Cifer narrowed his eyes.
"Wait. Who are you?"
She laughed.
Not warmly.
Just fact.
She didn't resemble Eisteth at all.
"You made me like this," Cifer said calmly.
"No."
Yiyyi shook her head.
"I helped you."
"A choice to remain imprisoned."
Or—
"A choice to meet him."
Silence.
The cracks in the seal widened again.
Leviathan could feel the system destabilizing.
Realization
Yiyyi looked at both of them.
Then she laughed quietly.
"How funny."
Leviathan and Cifer both remained silent.
"I died as an overworked human."
She closed her eyes briefly.
"And came back as the architect of Hell's system."
She opened them again.
Her gaze was different now.
Not confused.
Not shocked.
Aware.
"If I free you," she said to Cifer, "Hell becomes ordinary chaos again."
Cifer frowned at her strange attitude.
"If I maintain the system…"
"I'll be free."
Meaning—
She wouldn't have to keep adjusting or maintaining it.
No more endless work.
A long silence.
Yiyii smiled.
This time—
Truly dark.
"I hate overtime."
The system flickered.
[CORE DESTABILIZING]
Leviathan looked up sharply.
"Princess—"
"Don't call me that."
Her voice was flat.
"I am not Eisteth."
She looked at the seal.
"But I'm not human anymore either."
Ending – Chapter 4
Yiyyi touched the crack in the seal.
Not to destroy it.
Not to repair it.
Just to touch it.
And the system reacted violently.
The tower trembled.
The sky outside the city shifted colors.
Cifer let out a quiet laugh.
Leviathan tensed.
Yiyyi whispered:
"I'll make a new version."
"One that doesn't imprison."
"One that doesn't enslave."
Her violet eyes shone brighter than ever.
"But before that…"
She glanced at Leviathan.
"If you two really have chemistry, I still ship it."
Silence.
Then Cifer laughed for the second time.
And for the first time in 6,666 centuries—
The King of Hell felt hope.
Not because of the system.
Not because of freedom.
But because—
Eisteth was no longer fully Eisteth.
And Yiyyi …
Was far more dangerous than the system itself.
And somewhere deep within—
The system began to drop her authority.
(jellyfish noted next yiyyi will be surname coz them now she actually Eisteth 🪼🪼🪼🫶🏻)
