Camille should have known the peace wouldn't last longer than forty-eight hours.
Because apparently the internet had discovered a new obsession.

the diamond ring currently sitting on Camille's right hand.
She stared at her phone in disbelief while standing inside the penthouse kitchen.
"They're insane."
Victor nearly fell off his chair laughing.
"You wore a giant diamond around billionaires and expected silence?"
"It's not an engagement ring!"
Elena glanced once at Camille's hand before calmly buttering toast.
"To be fair, it does look suspicious."
"It was a gift."
Victor gasped dramatically.
"Oh my God. He gifts apology-diamonds now."
Dante entered the kitchen wearing black slacks and an unbuttoned dark shirt while adjusting his watch.
"What's happening."
Victor pointed aggressively.
"Your woman broke the internet with jewelry."
Dante looked toward Camille's hand once.
Then completely ignored the issue.
"It suits her."
