Chapter 21 - Chapter 21 — Warehouse Incident

At 2:14 AM, the quiet industrial district of Hangzhou was suddenly broken by a sharp alarm.

Red lights flashed above the entrance of the regional distribution warehouse.

A security guard rushed out of the small monitoring office.

"What happened?" he muttered, grabbing his flashlight.

The loading dock doors were slightly open.

That was impossible.

They were supposed to be locked after midnight.

The guard approached carefully.

Then his eyes widened.

Several large cargo boxes had been ripped open.

Milk powder bags were scattered across the ground.

A delivery truck parked beside the dock had its cargo door forced open.

Someone had clearly broken in.

"Damn it…"

He immediately grabbed his radio.

"Control, this is Dock Security. We've got a breach at the loading area."

Within minutes, more staff arrived.

The warehouse manager looked furious.

"If this shipment is damaged, tomorrow's deliveries will be delayed across half the district."

Someone had targeted their most important inventory.

And they had done it precisely before the morning distribution cycle.

It wasn't random.

It was sabotage.

Across the city, Chen Mo's phone vibrated quietly on his desk.

He had been reading when the notification appeared.

The system interface opened automatically.

[Emergency Event Detected]

Supply Node: Hangzhou Regional Distribution Warehouse

Risk Level: Medium

Cause: Human Interference

Chen Mo's eyes narrowed slightly.

Human interference?

That meant someone had intentionally disrupted the supply chain.

He quickly opened the Influence Map.

The warehouse node flashed yellow.

If this warehouse stopped operating even for a few hours…

Multiple suppliers would experience delivery delays.

Including some that were part of his network.

Chen Mo leaned back in his chair.

Someone had made a move.

But the real question was—

Were they targeting the warehouse…

Or targeting him?

He tapped the system screen calmly.

Strategic Insight activated.

Within seconds, the system displayed a list of possible suspects.

Competitors.

Logistics rivals.

Corporate investigators.

But one name appeared with the highest probability.

Golden Leaf Tea.

Chen Mo smiled faintly.

"So they've started fighting back."

For the first time since his network formed…

The market war had become visible.

And this was only the beginning.
