Chapter 43 - The Negotiation

The office door closed behind them.

Chen Mo sat calmly across from the owner of NorthRiver Supply.

The man leaned back, arms crossed, still skeptical.

"Alright," he said. "Talk."

Chen Mo placed his phone on the table.

"Your problem isn't demand," he began.

"It's coordination."

He tapped the screen.

"Your suppliers deliver on time. Your warehouses can store goods. Your clients are stable."

He paused.

"But your scheduling system is inefficient."

The owner frowned.

"That's obvious. Everyone knows that."

Chen Mo shook his head slightly.

"No. You see the problem."

"I understand it."

He zoomed in on the data.

"Your delays aren't random. They happen at peak hours."

"Your trucks overlap routes."

"Your warehouse loading priorities are inconsistent."

The owner's expression slowly changed.

"This…"

He leaned forward.

"…this isn't public data."

Chen Mo didn't answer directly.

Instead, he said:

"I can increase your efficiency by 30% within one week."

Silence filled the room.

"And what do you want?" the owner asked.

Chen Mo's eyes were calm.

"Control."

The word hit hard.

The owner laughed, but there was tension behind it.

"You're asking for control of my company?"

"Partial," Chen Mo corrected.

"Operational control."

The owner stared at him.

A young man.

No background.

No visible power.

Yet speaking with absolute confidence.

"You're either a genius…"

"…or insane," the owner muttered.

Chen Mo leaned back slightly.

"You're already losing clients."

"Give it one more month, and this company will collapse."

The room fell silent again.

This time, heavier.

After a long pause, the owner spoke.

"…One week."

"If you can prove it, we'll talk about control."

Chen Mo stood up.

"That's enough."

As he walked out, the system notification appeared:

[Mission Progress Updated: 20%]

The game had begun.
