The nurse gently knocked on the hospital room door.
"Sorry to disturb you," she said politely.
"But you will be discharged in two days."
She then looked at the father.
"And sir, please make sure to fill out all the required information before leaving."
The father nodded.
"Of course."
The nurse smiled and quietly left the room.
Two Days Later
The bright morning sunlight shone outside the hospital.
After completing all the paperwork, the small family finally left the hospital.
The father carefully carried the baby while helping the mother walk toward their car.
The ride home was calm and quiet.
After some time, the car slowly stopped in front of a house.
The mother smiled softly.
"We're home."
The father opened the car door.
As he stepped out, the baby slowly opened his eyes.
Those golden eyes looked around curiously.
The child first looked at his mother.
Then his gaze slowly moved toward the house.
He stared at it for a few seconds.
Then he looked behind him… as if observing the surroundings.
After a moment, his eyes returned to the house again.
The baby suddenly leaned slightly forward in his father's arms, moving his tiny hands as if trying to reach toward it.
The father laughed softly.
"Looks like someone is excited to see his new home."
The mother smiled gently.
"Maybe he already likes it."
The baby continued staring at the house with quiet curiosity.
As if…
this place already meant something to him.
The father walked toward the front door of the house while holding the baby in his arms.
As they reached the entrance—
tap… tap…
The baby suddenly began patting the door with his tiny hands.
The father blinked in surprise.
"Huh?"
The baby continued.
tap… tap… tap…
Both of his small hands lightly hit the door again and again, almost as if he was trying to knock.
The father chuckled.
"He's quite active, isn't he?"
The baby slightly turned his golden eyes toward him for a moment.
Then he looked back at the door and began patting it again with both hands.
The mother laughed softly.
"Maybe he's telling us to open the door quickly."
The father smiled and unlocked the door.
As the door slowly opened—
the baby suddenly stopped moving.
His tiny hands became still.
Now resting quietly in his father's arms, the newborn simply looked around the house.
His golden eyes slowly moved from one corner to another.
The living room.
The walls.
The windows.
Everything.
As if he was carefully observing the place.
And for a brief moment…
it almost felt like the baby already knew this house.
But just as quickly, the thought disappeared.
The newborn simply looked around calmly…
as if nothing unusual had happened at all.
