The factory trembled again.
Not a light vibration like before.
This time the entire structure groaned like an old beast waking from a long sleep.
The chains hanging from the giant Factory Core Lock clattered violently.

Ronan stood in the center of the ruined chamber, breathing heavily. Dust still floated in the air from the fall of the Iron Executioner.
The guardian's massive corpse lay across the broken floor, its rusted hammer half-buried in the cracked concrete.
For a moment, Ronan allowed himself to breathe.
His chest rose and fell slowly.
Every muscle in his body burned from exhaustion.
The battle had pushed him far beyond his limits.
But he had won.

Chunks of concrete dropped into darkness below.
A massive circular pit opened in the center of the chamber.
Cold air rushed upward from the depths.
Ronan approached carefully and looked down.

A massive underground facility stretched beneath the factory.
Ancient metal platforms.
Rust-covered machinery.
Thick pipes running across the walls.
But most disturbing of all—
Something stood in the center of the underground floor.
Something enormous.
For several seconds it didn't move.
Then—
Two crimson lights slowly appeared in the darkness.
Eyes.
Ronan exhaled slowly.
"Well… there you are."

The sentinel attacked again.

Ronan rolled across the floor.
The blade carved a deep trench into the concrete.

The Executioner had been slow but devastating.

Ronan jumped back several meters, creating distance.
His mind raced.
Armor everywhere.
Unlike the Executioner, this monster didn't show any obvious weak points.
Even its neck was protected by layered plating.

But the sentinel wasn't giving him any.
It charged again.

Then right.

Every missed strike destroyed part of the chamber.

He forced himself back to his feet.
