After the meeting ended, Emily and Alexander walked back to the office.
Emily looked thoughtful.
"She's impressive."
Alexander nodded.
"Yes."
Emily crossed her arms.
"And competitive."
Alexander glanced at her.
"You noticed."
Emily laughed softly.
"She looked at you like you were a prize."
Alexander raised an eyebrow.
"Jealous?"
Emily smirked.
"Observant."
Alexander chuckled quietly.
"You have nothing to worry about."
Emily stopped walking.
"Alexander."
"Yes?"
Emily looked serious.
"That woman is going to cause problems."
Alexander looked back toward the conference room.
Victoria stood there speaking with investors.
His expression became thoughtful.
"Yes."
He agreed.
"I know."
