Later that evening, Alexander and Emily stepped onto the balcony overlooking the city lights.
Emily crossed her arms.
"She's testing us."
Alexander nodded.
"Yes."
Emily looked thoughtful.
"That project tonight…"
Alexander raised an eyebrow.
"You have an idea."
Emily smiled slightly.
"I do."
Alexander waited.
Emily explained quickly.
"If we restructure the investment model, we could reduce the risk by twenty percent."
Alexander's eyes sharpened.
"That would attract more investors."
Emily nodded.
"Exactly."
Alexander watched her carefully.
For a moment he didn't say anything.
Then he smiled.
