This system is crazy! Finn thought inwardly with pain written all over his face. His ribs were definitely broken. Gritting his teeth, he forced himself up, his body trembling from the strain.
How the fuck am I supposed to defeat this monster?! I'm human… and that thing is just a pile of stones?!
His thoughts raced, then suddenly, an idea struck him.
Wait…
Apart from being made of stone, there's fire burning inside it… which must be what keeps the stone heated and moving.
Finn narrowed his eyes, studying the monster from a few meters away. It slammed its massive limbs into the ground repeatedly, growling in anger as it searched for him.
Each time it lashed out....whether at him or at nothing, the flames within its body flared even brighter.
Finn's lips slowly curled into a satisfied smirk.
So the more it gets angry… the hotter that fire burns.
And if the heat keeps increasing… then the stone holding its body together might weaken…
His eyes gleamed with realization.
If I can push it far enough… make the fire rage out of control… then cracks will start forming.
And once that happens…
I'll destroy this motherfucker.

Just shut the fuck up and get lost, Finn snapped inwardly, rolling his eyes at the system notification.
Without hesitation, he lunged forward and began running straight toward the monster.
The creature instantly spotted him.
GROOOOWL!
"Come on, you ugly bastard!" Finn yelled, laughing wildly as he sprinted past it, deliberately drawing its attention. "What's wrong? Too slow?!"
The monster roared louder, giving chase.
Its massive arms swung violently, smashing into the ground again and again but every attack missed.
Finn's hands trembled slightly from exhaustion, but he forced himself to stay steady, his movements fast.
{Two minutes remaining before combat ability expires.}
"Yeah, yeah....thank you," Finn muttered under his breath, not even bothering to look at the notification.
GROWL~
Another deafening growl echoed behind him making Finn to glance back briefly, a satisfied smirk returning to his face as he saw the flames inside the monster burning brighter, more unstable but then Finn expects it to have collapsed by now.
Fuck! He's so strong! Finn thought inwardly, his legs growing weaker with every step. What did I even expect? He's made of stone!
His breathing turned ragged, but he didn't dare stop....not when the monster was still chasing right behind him.

"Oh, fuck....I know that already! Can you stop reminding me?!" Finn snapped aloud, anger and frustration lacing his voice.
Ding!
{I am only informing you so you can prepare. Once the combat ability disappears, it will no longer aid your movement. You will have to depend entirely on your own strength. The weakness in your legs is because the ability is already fading… and once it is gone… it's over.}
"Fuck!!!" Finn cursed inwardly, forcing his exhausted body to keep moving.
When the fuck is this stone thing going to die?! Or did I make a mistake? But the system said I solved the puzzle… didn't it?!

"Yeah, yeah....I hear you," Finn muttered inwardly with a heavy sigh, still running like his life depended on it....well it did.

And just like that....the combat ability vanished.
Finn's body immediately gave out, and he collapsed to the ground, panting heavily as he struggled to breathe.
Meanwhile, the stone monster had slowed down. Its massive body was now visibly cracked just as Finn had predicted.
Oh yeah… good… Finn thought inwardly, a faint, satisfied smile tugging at his lips. I guess I just need to make it run a few more times… then it'll definitely collapse, right?
I must survive.
Gritting his teeth, Finn forced himself back onto his feet and started running again but this time, he was much slower. Without the combat ability, his body felt unbearably heavy, his lungs burning like they were about to burst.
Ding!
{I'm sorry to inform you, Host, but the rotten humans the monster controls will be arriving soon.}
"What?!" Finn shouted. "I thought you said I only needed to kill their master?!"
There was no response.
Instead....
They began emerging and soon the rotten humans were everywhere.
Their appearances were eerily similar to the zombies Finn had seen in countless movies....decayed flesh, lifeless eyes, staggering movements.
And without hesitation, they attacked.
"Shit!" Finn growled, immediately raising his sword as he began fighting them off.
"This is crazy system!" he shouted angrily. "Just say you want me dead! Or you found another host and decide to discard me?!"
His blade moved frantically. Slashing, cutting making heads roll on the floor.
Throats were sliced open while smelly blood splattered everywhere, thick and foul.
To be honest… they were much easier to kill than the stone monster but the problem was there are many of them.
Hundreds…no thousands and d Finn was alone.
GROOOOWL!
"What now?!" Finn shouted, panic rising as he lifted his gaze towards where the sound was coming from only to see the stone monster launching itself into the air, hurtling straight toward him.
Shit!
And before he knows it, pain exploded in his waist,sharp and brutal promting Finn to look down.
Five of the rotten humans had latched onto him, their teeth sunk deep into his flesh as blood poured out the moment he wasn't concentrating on them.
"Die, you motherfuckers!!!" Finn roared, swinging his sword wildly as he cut off their heads, their smelly blood splashing across his body, everywhere....the smell of the blood especially now thick that it was on Finn body made him nauseous but he forced himself to stay focused.
He had no choice but before he knew it...the stone monster crashed down.
BOOM!
Its massive fist slammed into Finn, sending him flying across the area until he smashed violently into a wall.
"Ghh...!" Finn choked, vomiting blood as his body crumpled to the ground.
Yeah… I knew it… this system is a joke… he thought bitterly.
The monster loomed over him now.
Its burning body pressed down against his, the intense heat searing into Finn's skin.
AHHHH!
Yeah… I'm going to die again… Finn thought inwardly, his vision blurring. Maybe this is all just some ridiculous dream anyway…
Fine… I died on Earth…
Maybe I'll survive back there when I die here…Not bad…but just then....
GROOOOWL!!!
The stone monster suddenly screamed in pain as he got off Finn.
What the fuck…? Finn thought weakly, forcing his eyes open.
Cracks.
More cracks were spreading across the monster's body.
Huh…? It worked?! Finn's thoughts sharpened slightly.
But then Finn saw as a massive surge of fire was pouring into the monster from behind.
CRACK!!!
The monster shattered into countless pieces, fragments exploding outward promting Finn to instinctively raise his arms to shield his face.
Silence followed as the sound of the monster was gone.
But then Finn vision was blurry as he had lost lost of blood hence he couldn't clearly see who had released such overwhelming power and soon he lost consciousness.
