The people immediately parted to make way for them.
Finn, however, quickly noticed something strange.
"…What's wrong with you?" Finn finally asked after several minutes, raising an eyebrow suspiciously. "Why are you moving slower than a snail?"
At this pace, they were practically crawling through the capital.
Finn was already beginning to feel sleepy again from how slow the horse was moving.
"Am I really moving that slowly?" Orion asked innocently while somehow slowing the horse down even further.
Finn nearly choked in disbelief.
"You know the answer to that yourself," Finn replied with a scoff. "The palace is still pretty far from here even if we can already see it from a distance. At this rate, we might not even arrive before nightfall."
"It isn't good to ride too fast through crowded streets, Finn," Orion explained patiently. "Besides…"
His arms tightened slightly around Finn's waist as he held the reins.
