The assistant chef looked as though he had just heard a death sentence.
"Your Highness..." he stammered nervously. "The king would be furious if I interfered with another department without permission."
Finn raised an eyebrow.
"The king's partner is standing right in front of you."
"How dare you come to the royal kitchen?!" the head chef yelled, his face flushed with anger. "It seems you don't know your place, huh? You even dare come here and give orders?!"
Wait... is this old man talking to me right now?
Finn frowned as he rose to his feet.
Is he crazy or what?
"You!" the head chef barked, pointing a finger forward. "Come out here!"
He then stormed past Finn with his finger still aimed ahead.
Huh?
Finn blinked in confusion. Since the man had walked right past him, he instinctively turned around to see what was happening behind him.
"How dare you, you little pest?!" the head chef shouted.
