Sitting on a couch adjacent to Sunny, Kai absorbed all the knowledge Sunny gave him. Which was a lot, as Sunny told him his thought process as well.
"My 'Will' huh?" Kai said.
Lying on his back, Sunny threw out a lazy reply.
"Indeed, what do you suppose your 'Will' could be? Maybe voices or commanding?"
Kai shook his head.
"That doesn't seem right."
Thinking hard, Kai furrowed his brow. It was important. Since Sunny mentioned that his value in the battle could actually determine if they won or lost, and Kai wasn't fond of dying to some corrupted God inside a board game.
So Kai thought about everything. From his source element to his aspect, and then after a moment as if a light bulb went off in his head, he came to answer.
"My 'Will'. I think I know what it could be."
Sunny sat up a bit.
"What is it?" He asked.
"I think it's 'Wind Will'." Kai said.
Sunny thought about and said.
"How does that tie in exactly with you and commanding people or voice?" Sunny asked, confused.
Kai nodded.
"That was the exact question I had as well. Then I realized. How does voice travel? It can also ride on the wind. Sound waves travel into the air, but specifically, they also interact with Wind." Kai said.
Kai was still a little confused when it came to summoning 'Will'. It made absolutely no sense. To just create something out of thin air, and it'll assist you in battle, but at the same time, he also understood it. At the end of the day, his voice was one of the most lethal powers that everyone underestimated.
It assisted him in so many different ways and made him incredibly versatile. It was also amazing in direct confrontations.
In the future, he caught Morgan off guard during the domain war. Completely and utterly, she was at Kai's mercy. This was someone who had one of the lineages of the War God and was trained at birth to be a warrior.
Kai didn't know this, but Sunny did.
That's also the reason Sunny believed his friend was capable of becoming a Supreme. His aspect was powerful, and if it developed even more of a mystical sense with 'Will' Sunny could see Kai becoming an incredibly dangerous being in the future.
"Alright, we'll practice for a bit, and I'll tell you a bit of how 'Will' can interact with your body. We'll aim for you to use it during flight since that could be easier as it's your dormant ability and nearly instinctive." Sunny said.
Kai nodded as they left the mansion.
"How will you try to make me manifest my 'Will'?" Kai asked.
Smiling Sunny stepped outside. It was a bit cool and just a little windy.
"Simple, really, start flying and I'll stay here with some arrows and try to hit you with arrows that contain 'Will', of course, you'll try to dodge, but it'll be hard since it'll be like the very world wants you to get hit," Sunny said with a carefree smile.
Kai, on the other hand, was in absolute dismay.
"You know I just saw you fight some corrupted gods a few days prior. So I'm going to hopefully assume that you'll hold back, right?" Kai said
Sunny made an exaggerated action, bringing his hand up to his chin as if it were the hardest question in the world.
"Well, I'll hold back a bit so you don't get seriously injured, but it'll definitely bruise and sting!" Sunny with an excited smile.
Kai's shoulders drooped as Sunny manifested a dozen blunt arrows that he would use to shoot Kai.
This training will also help me get used to the overall usage of 'Will' as well. Sunny thought. It had been an interesting week. He had been continuously using 'Will' against opponents who were one rank above him.
To make it worse, Sunny never actually unsummoned his 'Will' either. It felt taxing and draining. He didn't possess Mind Weave either, so it was annoying to summon Sacred shades while feeling a bit drained all the time. However, Sunny did feel his 'Will' grow more powerful over the last few days.
Pulling the bowstring back, Sunny held back his strength and even held a majority of his powerful 'Will' and let it loose.
Kai dodged the arrow gracefully and was delighted that Sunny was going easy when he saw a large shadow stretch across the floor.
Sunny decided that this would be too slow so instead he opted for another solution. Multiple arrows formed and aimed at Kai.
"Wait, wait, Sunny, let's ta-" Kai never finished that sentence.

Later that night, Kai lay on the floor groaning. He had a black eye. As a Saint, it was a wound that would heal in an hour, but coupled with the bruises that basically turned his entire body purple, it was taking a bit longer.
Sunny was getting ready for the upcoming battle when he heard Kai speak.
"I think I'm starting to understand the mindset needed specifically for 'Will' and how essence even plays a part," Kai said.
Indeed, Sunny and Kai had been working on theories to manifest his 'Will'. Kai didn't need a powerful enemy to learn how to push back and manifest 'Will' he just needed to understand the mind of someone who did.
Thinking about it some more.
Another faster way would've been to show Cassie my memories and then have her show Kai, Sunny thought.
Then all Kai would have to tell himself is to think like that as well but suprisingly Kai was the one to dismiss that idea.
"I'm starting to understand the mindset of wanting the 'Wind' to obey me. It's odd because it's one of the freeing things in the world. It almost feels wrong to try and force it to obey me." Kai said.
Continuing, Kai said, "It's more taking a part of the world for yourself and being selfish, demanding that it be yours and no one else."
Sunny agreed.
"Indeed, you need to be tyrannical, and someone who believes something so abstract should be yours and no one else's," Sunny said.
Over the last few hours, Kai seemed to get at least a sense of the 'Will'. That's what Sunny was training him in as well. At the beginning of the training, among the hundreds of arrows Sunny released, only a fourth contained 'Will'. Sometimes Sunny would miss on purpose just for Kai to pick it out later in a field of arrows.
It helped him better sense 'Will' to a higher degree. Sunny also made Kai use his transformation ability. To see if that could make a difference.
All in all, over the last few hours, Kai definitely learned how to sense 'Will' as sometimes when he would have to get hit by an arrow, he would choose the ones that didn't contain, but sometimes it would hit anyway. All the previous battles also helped. Being around Cursed Beings was not easy at all.
The next few hours, Kai healed while Sunny finished the preparations for the oncoming battle.
The light shone through the windows, marking a new day. Stretching, Sunny looked over to Kai. He was stretching too and had a grim look. Unsure what his purpose in the battle could be.
"You ready?" Sunny asked
"As ready as I'll ever be," Kai said.
Continuing, Kai said.
"It's funny, you know. When I was younger, I thought stage performance was utterly terrifying, as that's what my mind made it out to be. Now? I'm about to enter a battle with, the fourth corrupted god this week." Sunny and Kai both chuckled at that.
Indeed, life always seems to get harder.
