Ashley narrowed her eyes at the injured Khan, and somehow, seeing the amount of blood on the man made her gut uneasy.
"Tch," one of the men clicked his tongue, ignoring her as he focused on stopping Khan's bleeding. "I don't know what the fuck is going on, but right after I went after Nelek, we found him like this."
Nelek — the first one who had stormed out over Ashley's rambling — went pale as he kept his eyes on Khan.
"Khan, hey! Hey! Don't close your eyes!" Nelek shook Khan's shoulder, trying to keep him conscious. "Fuck — stop the bleeding!"
"I'm trying!" the other man, who had followed Nelek outside, shouted back.
