Chapter 24 - The liar shpehered

Kalu, a shepherd, loved telling tall tales. He exaggerated about his sheep, wolves, and bravery. Villagers would gather, listening with wide eyes, but soon grew tired of his lies.

One day, a wolf attacked Kalu's flock. He cried for help, but villagers laughed, thinking it was another tale. "Wolf! Wolf!" Kalu shouted, but no one came.

The wolf killed several sheep, leaving Kalu in tears. Villagers asked, "Where's the wolf?" Kalu hung his head. "I lied. There was a wolf, but no one believed me."

Villagers shook their heads. "A liar isn't believed, even when they tell the truth." Kalu learned a hard lesson. From then on, he promised to tell the truth, no matter how difficult .

*Moral:* Honesty is always the best policy. Lying can lead to trouble and mistrust.
