( Hey readers, this chapter is going to contain a pov of 1 whole week)
Jay's pov:
As we stepped off the plane in Singapore, the humid air enveloped us like a warm hug. The seven of us exchanged excited glitches, stretching our legs after the long flight. Our business training started the next day, and we knew it was going to be intense. We reached the hotel soon with Melody following us.
We submitted our phones at the reception area and clocked in. The manager of the hotel came and greeted us handing us private phones just used for classes and schedules. No social media present. We were exhausted, we kicked our shoes off and landed straight in bed. Melody entered our room.
Melody: Rest today. Training starts tomorrow. Morning it will be related to business, evenings will be fighting, combat and rapid shooting. Your schedules have been given in your phone give by manager. Saturday is off, enjoy all you want. Phones will be given back. Sunday were leaving. End of discussion, no complaining, no arguments!
All: ok!
Monday to Friday were all about the training sessions, from 9 AM to 5 PM, with minimal downtime. We'd grab lunch at the conference center and crash at the hotel in the evenings, Fighting, shooting and combats. The trainers were tough, and we were there to learn. We were able to speak with our family from 7-8pm as promised. I was complaining to Kuya abt the boring lessons and the fights which was endless. Section E and the girls spoke to me. They asked where I was? What was I doing?
But everytime I said:
Jay: I will explain when it's the right time.
I sent Julian notes. we were given projects which had a deadly timings. 1 day for a huge project we ended up sleepless with coffee cups around us. Julian submitted through online I could see dark circles in his eyes when he was speaking to us.
But then came Saturday – our one day off. We woke up early, pumped and ready to play! We got our phones back! We headed to Gardens by the Bay, marvelled at the Supertrees, and soaked in the floral scents. Then it was off to Sentosa Island for a day of thrills – rollercoasters at Universal Studios and beach time at Siloso. We stuffed ourselves with local food and laughed till our sides hurt. Juliette took photos with us and posted it on socials.
Now, on Sunday, we're packing up.

Keifer's pov:
As I landed, the cool breeze of London welcomed me. When I went to the office, the evil face of Clyde and the elders were welcoming me with an evil smirk. Getting the meeting agreed from crown prince was hard was hard now, I feel like I messed it up, Why did ask for an early meeting. People have to line up just to see him and I. Oh god! I was nervous to see if he would agree. Just then PING!
It was his secretary. Apparently, he agreed. I was thrilled. Monday and Tuesday's were annoying Clyde was commanding but I had to put up for my brothers and Jay. One wrong move they will kick me out. The use of crown prince's help will get me off from them and help me secure my inheritance safely.
Keifer (mind) : Just till next week. Just until my birthday. For my Jay.... my future wife.
On Wednesday, The meeting was starting in 2 minutes. Everyone were seated they didn't believe for the fact that a crown prince actually agreed to come. They mocked me but I let them....
Clyde: heh? seriously do we look like fools? The crown prince? He's never late the meeting started-
Just then he walked in. All of them were shocked.
Oliver: Hello everyone. I'm sorry for being late, had some urgent matters to attend. As you all have seen me news channels and paper I would still like to introduce myself. Myself. Oliver blackwood. The crown prince. The ceo of Blackwood industries. You can call me Oliver.
Clyde stood up quick followed by the elders they greeted and bowed to him. At last, he came to me I bowed nervously but he looked familiar to the masked man. But this man in front of me didn't have a mask. who was he next to Jay?
The project started soon, Oliver kept asking questions but I answered without hesitation.
Oliver ( Julian): I like honesty Mr. keifer Watson- your answers were good I'm pretty sure this collaboration will be good. Hope you won't disappoint!
Keifer: thank you!
I bowed.
He handed out an Invitation to everyone.
Oliver ( julian): This is me getting crowned as king on my birthday hope to see you all. you too keifer...Meeting is done here! all of you can leave I need to speak with Mr. watson abt some projects.
keifer (mind): The Invitation was on the same day as Jay's birthday. What a coincidence Jay and the Prince have same birthday....
We talked abt the proposals just then, he got a call from someone named Maria.
I heard the person on the other end saying hello and he moved away to speak.
The sound..... it sounded like Jay's
My stomach curled jealousy crawled through.
Keifer (mind): No it's not Jay. But the voice was so like hers.
I was convincing myself.
Oliver came finishing his call
Oliver: sry. Urgent matters need to head back immediately.
I didn't know why but I asked
Keifer: Have we met before?
Oliver: maybe..... Also keifer think abt what you say and what you do.
That night I couldn't sleep. Was the guy in mask and Oliver know each other. Who was the next guy with Jay. Does Jay know the crown prince. I had questions running through my brain spiralling. The darkness of unwarranted Jealousy crept in like a thief in the night, catching me off guard. The voice is Jay's right. I didn't care how powerful Oliver was... I hoped he didn't know Jay. bcoz....she is mine and only mine!
Where have I met oliver? Maybe...
Eventually dozing off.
