Chapter 72 - Chapter 72 FIRST ENCOUNTER 2

CHAPTER 72 FIRST ENCOUNTER 2

The first years shivered under the cold but calm gaze of the Prince.

Some of them who were native of Avalon suddenly realized that they were staring at the crown Prince of the Kingdom.

One wrong move could be the end of them.

The pressure coming from the other third years wasn't helping things either.

It felt like time froze on them.

Well....all except a certain five sitting at the end of the cafeteria, sipping their drinks as if everything was normal.

Actually... Roman, Sylver, Lunar and Anya were daring enough to be nonchalant.

Sarah on the other hand hesitated but decided to follow the group.

"T...they know what their doing, yeah"

She assured herself.

Prince Lyon eyes wandered about the cafeteria until it finally landed on the far end.

This group of five were completely calm every with their unexpected arrival.

Not only that, he could see that they were strong, unlike the others who were trembling under mere presence alone.

Lyon's eyes settled on them, then subconsciously, more than forty eyes landed on the group.

Sarah let out a light shiver up realizing it.

"Guys..."

She whispered.

"Their all staring at us"

"So what"

Lunar shrugged and relaxed on his seat.

"I can make you invisible if you want "

Anya offered.

"No need, he's already heading here"

Roman smirked.

Indeed Lyon was already heading their way.

He stretched his hand and grabbed a nearby chair, letting it drag behind him as he continued forward.

The screeching sound of the chair echoed, sounding like the beginning of an upcoming doom.

"This...is not going to end well"

Sarah's shoulder slumped.

"Hey, you decided to follow the Pack, so you gotta be as strong as the Pack"

Lunar tapped her shoulder.

"Also..."

Roman relaxed on his chair

"Trouble seems to follow me everywhere I go"

He smiled proudly.

"What kind of trouble I wonder "

A soft voice said from the side.

The group turned to see Prince Lyon already standing by their table.

He settled the chair by the table and slowly sat down and relax, as if he owned the entire place. A soft smile crept to his face.

"Nice hair dude"

Lunar smiled.

"But mine is longer"

He flicked his hair to the side.

Anya rolled her eyes.

"You guys look like you're not from around here"

Lyon said.

"I was raised in a mountain "

Lunar shrugged.

"My brother here was joined me shortly"

He nodded at Roman.

Lyon turned his head towards Roman.

"You just had to pass the ball over to my court"

Roman said.

"Also, my hair's longer"

"Do not....flick your hair"

Anya glared at him.

Roman stared at her, surprised. He was just about to flick his hair.

"Yes ma'am"

Roman smirked.

Lyon let out a chuckle.

"You're a funny bunch"

Sarah's eyes were so focused on her drink.

Sylver remained quiet with her usual aloof and expressionless face. Her eyes dark as she stared at Lyon's every move.

Lyon had glanced at her on multiple occasions, but her eyes remained glued on him.

She doesn't trust him one bit. And the crowd he brought with him was totally a show that he came for trouble.

The group knew of course, it was obviously obvious.

A strange silence descended suddenly as everyone went serious.

Lyon's eyes locked with Roman's while the others stared at Lyon, ready to pounce on him at the slightest second.

But with all their readines, Prince Lyon was still swifter.

BANG!

BOOM!

Sylver was sent bursting through the glass window of the cafeteria.

"Sylver!!!!"

Roman voiced out.

It was entirely unexpected.

Everyone thought that Lyon was going to attack Roman. It was obvious.

No one expected him to go for Sylver.

The cafeteria was at an upper floor. It was a long way down, and the force of Lyon's blow sent her flying and crashing hard on the cobblestone.

The impact of her body destroyed the ground, gaining the attention of multiple guards and others.

But they chose not to intervene.

Roman growled as he stared deadly at Lyon, but instead of attacking, he leaped through the broken window, heading towards Sylver.

The others followed suit without a second thought.

"Sylver!!"

Roman called out as he helped her

"You okay?"

She nodded.

"I'm fine, I formed a forcefield around my body before I hit the ground"

Sylver said, and she wasn't smiling one bit.

Lunar, Anya and Sarah joined them a second later.

BANG!

The rest of the windows blew up all over the place and they looked upwards to see Prince Lyon, floating mid air in a vortex of wind with arms folded.

"So he can control wind huh?"

Lunar smirked.

Prince Lyon landed softly on the cobblestone. A smirk playing on his face.

Roman eyes were darkened as he walked to stand in front of his team.

Red spirit energy slowly swarming around him, making his hair rise up.

SWITZH!!

A glowing blue arrow made from spirit energy suddenly shot from above, heading towards Roman in light speed.

BANG!!

Before the arrow could hit, Sylver had appeared with her silver shield raised high.

Roman had seen the arrow coming, but he still didn't pay any attention to it.

Prince Lyon raised a brow as he took note of the action.

"She's the strongest, but he's the leader"

He thought.

"You don't I'm stupid enough to take you all down, right?"

Prince Lyon said.

As for the arrow, standing at the edge of the broken window, the four other third year students that came in with Prince Lyon, stood still while watching the event below.

There were two boys and two girls, and one of the girls held a spirit weapon, a long glowing Bow.

She pulled the bow string and another arrow appeared, ready to fly.

"They're all at the Knight stage, can we really take them?"

Sarah asked, slightly tensed.

Roman smirked.

"That's the plan, get ready to take them all out"

He voice out and his spirit energy finally surged upwards.

The others followed suit.

The four third year students jumped off the edge and landed smoothly beside Prince Lyon.

The first years who had remained seated all this while suddenly jerked up and moved towards the windows to get a view of the happenings below.

Lan, Billy, Carl and Bryon stood at the very front, slightly tensed.

"Oh crap, Sarah's gonna get pulverized"

Carl complained

"Those guy are at the Knight stage "

"Should we help them, I admit that they're strong, but isn't this too much to handle "

Bryon asked.

"I would love a decent fight"

Lan added.

"No"

Billy voiced out

"That's not our concern"

"I'm just worried about Sarah"

Carl muttered.

Below, Roman and his team stood ready for a battle. Their spirit energy already surging upwards as they were ready to go all out.

Prince Lyon's body surged with bright yellow aura, along with his team.

The ground below them cracked due the pressure.

A strange anticipation filled the air as each team ready to strike at any moment.

The guards and even some of the instructors stood at the distance. No one wanted to intervene with the Prince's fight.

Well..... except for one....
