Kureha really did know about this kind of special constitution.
In the original story, Blackbeard, an ambitious dreamer who had endured in silence for decades, definitely was not the kind of man who would destroy a country and massacre a city for no reason.
And yet, among that man's long list of crimes, one of them was the destruction of Drum Kingdom!
Apart from Drum Kingdom, he had never destroyed any other country.
That alone made it hard not to wonder whether Blackbeard had some unusual connection to Drum Kingdom.
Then, when one connected that to his dual-Devil-Fruit constitution, as well as the widely renowned medical knowledge of Drum Island…
The answer was practically right there!
While Roy was chatting with Kureha, Laffitte had already entered the palace on the other side.
He then hypnotized Wapol's two most trusted subordinates at the moment: Chess and Kuromarimo.
"When you return, tell your king this: this country only needs to select the twenty best doctors in the nation who are willing to obey. As for everyone else who claims to be a doctor, they should either be killed or exiled. This will ensure that the Isshi-20 are the only path for anyone seeking medical treatment. That is the so-called Isshi-20 Plan."
A strange light flickered in Laffitte's eyes as he continued, "This will strengthen your king's rule. He will definitely agree to it."
"Yes."
Chess and Kuromarimo answered blankly, like machines, then walked out.
"Yo-ho-ho. With the brutal temperament of Drum Kingdom's king, he will definitely adopt this suggestion. When the time comes, many doctors will surely be driven out of the country. Then we, the Thunder God Pirates, will gladly take over those doctors!"

The next day, after Chess and Kuromarimo, Wapol's treacherous ministers, offered their proposal, Wapol was overjoyed and approved the Isshi-20 Plan on the spot.
This was a full nine years earlier than in the original story.
Although Royal Guard Captain Dalton did everything he could to stop and oppose it, Wapol did not pay him any attention at all.
And so, after the decree was issued, it caused a violent uproar across all of Drum Island!
One doctor after another, whether they were researching medicine or treating patients, was stunned, and they all began to resist.
After leaving behind twenty suitable candidates, Wapol directly expelled every other doctor from the country.
On the shore of Drum Island, doctors were shoved and forced onto a ship one after another.
Every doctor felt incomparably bleak inside. Just as they were filled with worry over their future lives, Roy and the others arrived in front of that ship aboard the Thunder God.
"Follow me."
Roy smiled as he released bolt after bolt of lightning across the direct route from Drum Island to the open sea.
"Gulp!"
Seeing that sight before them, the doctors all hurriedly nodded without the slightest delay.
And so, the Thunder God Pirates successfully took in most of the doctors who had been expelled from the country.
It was not many. Only about forty or fifty people.
Just forty or fifty professional doctors, that was all.
As for Roy and Kureha, the two of them talked about many things, including the dual-Devil-Fruit constitution and the secrets of the Clan of D.
However, what exactly they discussed was not something for outsiders to know.
The two Devil Fruits that Roy ate in front of Kureha were the Stop-Stop Fruit and the Transfer-Transfer Fruit he had obtained after killing a CP agent.
Aside from the Transfer-Transfer Fruit, Roy also found the other three Devil Fruits with the Devil Fruit Radar.
After blasting Drum Palace with lightning, Roy and the others began heading toward their next destination: Alabasta.
In Roy's view, Chopper, who had eaten the Hito Hito no Mi, possessed wisdom beyond what ordinary people could imagine.
This wisdom did not refer to emotional intelligence, such as being reasonable or understanding worldly affairs. It referred to the kind of exploratory ability shown in study and research.
Rumble Ball!
The Rumble Ball was a drug invented by Chopper. It could disrupt the transformation wavelength of Zoan-type Devil Fruits, increasing the number of transformation points to seven. However, its effect only lasted three minutes.
After taking it, Chopper could temporarily gain forms such as Heavy Point, Jumping Point, Guard Point, Arm Point, Brain Point, Horn Point, and Walk Point.
However, after Chopper trained for two years, he no longer needed a Rumble Ball to use those seven transformation points, and there was no time limit. He even invented an eighth form, Kung Fu Point.
After the two-year timeskip, Chopper could transform directly into Monster Point after eating a single Rumble Ball, and he could consciously control Monster Point for three minutes.
What did this prove?
It proved that, in just two years, Chopper had thoroughly found a way to disrupt the transformation wavelength of a Zoan-type Devil Fruit without using drugs, relying solely on his own control to achieve seven-stage transformations!
This was simply unbelievable.
And yet, Chopper had done it!
A research product capable of allowing Zoan users to transform through multiple stages like this was something every Zoan user dreamed of!
Imagine this: if Mythical Zoan users like Kaido, Sengoku, and Marco ate a Rumble Ball, or if they became like Chopper after the two-year timeskip and could control themselves directly to achieve seven-stage transformations without needing a Rumble Ball, then ate one more Rumble Ball to consciously enter Monster Point…

That was why Roy would absolutely never give up on Chopper!
As for Luffy, Roy would have to wait until Luffy had trained Gear Fourth to its absolute limit before considering him.

Aside from possibly hiding Pluton, Alabasta did not have anything else worth paying attention to.
With Roy's perception, he found it with a casual search, then broke it apart, reorganized the components, and threw them into his spatial ring.
Pluton had already been stored beneath Alabasta for several hundred years. Like the World Government, it had long since rotted away.
Besides, it was too huge. The ring could not hold it as it was.
In any case, Tom-san had the blueprints. Roy could get those blueprints later too, then hand them over to the crew's engineer along with these parts for research. That would be enough.
Next came Mock Town, Skypiea, and Long Ring Long Land.
During this stretch, they did not encounter anything worth paying attention to. The Marines and the World Government had already made up their minds to adopt a hunt-and-kill strategy against them.
It was not that there were no other pirates or greedy bounty hunters who tried to sneak over and provoke them along the way.
But without exception, all of them were killed by Gin, Daz Bonez, and the others as training.
And so, the Thunder God Pirates' reputation grew louder and louder.
