As for their captain, Red-Haired Shanks, he sat alone at the edge of a cliff, silently gazing out at the distant sea for a long time.

Whether that old hag Charlotte Linlin lived or died, and whether the Thunder Emperor conquered the New World, had nothing to do with Whitebeard!
All he cared about now was fighting the Marines and rescuing his son!
It was not only Whitebeard himself. None of his many sons were distracted by this news. They were all earnestly gathering their strength during this period.
In a few days, they would have a brutal battle to fight!
Meanwhile, on the Thunder God Pirates' side...
"Wihahahaha! Captain, that was beautifully done! That crazy old hag has completely lost her mind and is coming straight for us! We'll finally get to face her!"
Jesus Burgess waved his arms around as he shouted excitedly.
The Marines and the other emperors were not the only ones who had been shocked by Roy's actions. Even several of the Thunder God Pirates' division commanders had been astonished by what he had done.
In only three days, Roy had completely toppled a veteran emperor who had survived the eras of Rocks, Roger and Whitebeard, and Roy himself.
Everyone knew that the Big Mom Pirates were about to become history.
Everyone had also learned that eliminating an emperor did not necessarily require overwhelming military force. Three Dyna Stones alone could accomplish it.
Of course, without the Thunder Emperor's extraordinary control over the explosive force, the best possible result would have been mutual destruction. It would not have ended as it had now, with the Thunder God Pirates suffering no losses whatsoever.
"That foolish woman Charlotte Linlin might be obsessed with sweets, marriage, and having children, but she is still extremely powerful."
King rubbed his head and glanced at Burgess.
"More importantly, she's heading toward us in a blind rage. If you charge straight at her, she'll probably send you flying with a single swing of that greatsword."
King bluntly mocked Burgess without the slightest hesitation. Burgess could only nod in embarrassed agreement.
"Stop fooling around!"
Yasopp, who had been responsible for watching the sea from a raised platform, shouted:
"That madwoman Charlotte Linlin is here!"
Everyone turned toward the sea.
Far away on the horizon, a small black dot was approaching them at astonishing speed.
"It really is that crazy old hag! Wihahahaha! Let me give her a welcoming present!"
Laughing loudly, Burgess flung both arms outward toward the sea.
"Boiling: Ocean!"
In the next instant, the entire expanse of seawater surrounding Burgess began boiling.
The boiling water then surged toward the distant black dot at incredible speed!
On the other side, once the boiling sea reached Charlotte Linlin and her figure became visible, she continued charging straight toward Raijin Island as though nothing had happened.
"Huh. That body truly deserves to be called an Iron Balloon. In that case, let's see how you handle this!"
Burgess sighed in admiration before grinning.
He raised both hands diagonally toward the sky. Charlotte Linlin was about to reach the shore, and King and the others had already prepared themselves for battle when—
Burgess suddenly clenched both hands and roared:
"Boiling Scorch: Sea and Sky!"
Water vapor was constantly evaporating above the sea, and it was especially dense in the surrounding area.
The air humans breathed over the ocean contained an enormous amount of moisture. Once that moisture began boiling and was inhaled into the lungs and body...
The sensation would be unimaginable.
Burgess did not know exactly what it felt like, nor did he have any desire to find out.
He only needed to see Charlotte Linlin's approaching body suddenly come to a halt and the hideously distorted expression of agony on her face to know that it was unbearable.
Even a Sea Emperor with an Iron Balloon body could not withstand it!
"Wihahahaha! Big Mom, today is the day you die!"
Seeing that his technique had worked, Burgess immediately flexed his arms, causing them to swell considerably. Unable to restrain himself any longer, he charged forward.
"Wave Motion: Boiling Shot!"

The punch caused Charlotte Linlin to spew a large mouthful of blood. The blood itself was scalding hot and bubbling!
Burgess's heavy punch had clearly aggravated the already serious injuries covering Charlotte Linlin's body.
However, she did not allow Burgess to escape unharmed.
As she endured the blow, she swung her right arm and unleashed Ikoku Sovereignty, sending Burgess flying with the tremendous force of the slash.
After spending all these years developing his Devil Fruit ability and tempering his body under Roy's guidance, Burgess had become vastly stronger. He now possessed genuine combat power at least equal to an Emperor's highest-ranking commander.
Crack!
The instant Burgess was sent flying, King transformed.
He assumed his full Pteranodon form while simultaneously biting down and crushing a Rumble Ball inside his mouth.
"Pteranodon—Monster Point!!"
His enormous wings spread out, blotting out the sky, while his razor-sharp claws instantly expanded many times over.
In the original story, Chopper's hybrid form was quite small. However, when he transformed into Monster Point, his body increased dramatically in size!
King's Pteranodon form was no exception.
In fact, his body expanded to an even greater size than Chopper's!
"It's over, Big Mom!!!"
