"What are you two doing?" Junior asked, looking at the two of them as Baby Sea came behind him.
Sea pried Jimmy's hands off his waist, "Come get your boss."
Junior walked over to Jimmy and smacked him on the back of the head, "Take these, and keep your hands to yourself," he said, shoving medicine down Jimmy's throat.
Jimmy slowly blinked as his eyes still lay on Sea.
Sea reached into one of his drawers, pulled out the first t-shirt that was on top, and slung it over his body.
"What a shame." Sea reaches out to slap Jimmy, who moved slightly.
The 4 of them made their way out of the bedroom and into the living room.
Sea sat down on the couch, putting his feet up in a criss-cross applesauce position.
"Hi, Sea, it's good to meet you." Junior reached out his hand, which Sea shook, "I am Junior Jimmy's secretary."
"It's nice to meet you, too."
A smile stretched across Junior's face, "You really are beautiful."
Sea's face turned red, "You flatter me."
Jimmy gave his secretary a weird look as Baby Sea sat down on the couch next to his brother.
"Sorry about my boss," Junior smacked him on the back of his head once more, "he keeps suppressant bombing, and I don't know why it didn't work today, but I am glad he didn't go into full rut, because that would have been bad."
"Yeah," Sea muttered awkwardly.
"He didn't hurt you, did he?"
Sea shook his head, "No."
"Okay, great," Junior stepped back, "well. I was told the news of you being pregnant today, and I just want to make sure you and the baby have whatever you need."
"Thank you so much, but I have more than enough money to get everything. All I need is," sea looked at Jimmy, but no words came out.
"Well, that's why I'm here for. I am going to make sure Jimmy's in the baby's life. And I want you both to actually get to know each other, do you understand?"
Both of them nodded.
"So, I, with the help of my handsome man, Mark, came up with a game plan. You two should alternate days at each other's work. Jimmy doesn't really do work anyway; he just sits in his office, sends 3 emails, and does the rest at home. And you being a boxer and pregnant, I'm assuming you need to take it easy? So every day you flip. Office, gym, office, gym."
"That sounds like an awful idea," Jimmy mummbled.
"Agreed," Sea said.
"Yeah, I didn't ask. So starting tomorrow, you guys are going to do that, do you understand me? And also Sea you need to go to the doctor and have appointments, so Jimmy is going to go with you to ALL of them."
"All of them? What if I have stuff to do?"
"Should have thought about that before you got him pregnant," Junior said, sighing.
Baby sea snickered, and almost instinctively, his brother kicked him.
"Exchange phone numbers."
Sea patted around, "Go get my phone."
"Where is it?"
"I don't know, go find it," Sea said to his brother, who stood up before he got kicked again, "so cranky."
Baby Sea found his brother's phone and walked back into the room. "Give it to him."
Jimmy took the phone, typed in his number, and handed it back. Sea took it from his brother.
Baby daddy number 2.
Sea looked at the phone and then back up at Jimmy, who was smiling at him. "What the hell?"
"I'm finally embracing it."
"Why is there a number 2?"
Jimmy's smile got wider.
"Okay! Glad we are getting along. Jimmy, before we do any more things that you are going to regret later, get up and let's go," Junior said, trying to get Jimmy out of the door.
"Wave goodbye, let's go." Jimmy waved slowly as he looked Sea up and down like he was the only person in the whole world. "We will see at the gym tomorrow," and just like that, the two of them were gone.
"That was mature," baby sea said.
"I know junior put him up to it," Sea got up and locked the door, "but I am surprised he actually came and followed through with it."
"Speaking of actually coming." Sea's face dropped as his mouth turned upwards in disgust, "That is a terrible segue," he said to his brother.
"I know, I know, but did he…hurt you?"
"Did who hurt me?"
"Did Jimmy hurt you?'
"When?"
Baby Sea rolled his eyes, "You are pissing me off right now."
"And you are being vague."
"Okay, well, when I had to step outside, I really don't know how ruts work besides what we learned in school and what Keen has told me, but did he go into rut?"
"Almost? I don't know how that works, like he was in pre rut, and I think the suppressants he took earlier stopped him from going into full rut."
"That's confusing."
"I know. I don't really understand alpha logics at all, because he took the suppressants, so what even triggered the rut?"
Baby sea squinted, "What? Do you know?" sea asked his brother.
"Well, I remember learning about this a couple of years ago, and Keen and I sometimes talk about it because he is an omega and all that. And sometimes, SOMETIMES a rut or pre-rut can be triggered when a person meets their soulmate who's not on suppressants."
"You said what?" Sea said, turning his head slightly.
"I don't know, I don't know, that's what I remember, I don't know if it's true."
"Soulmates is some bull shit."
"Don't shoot the messenger," baby sea said, putting his hands up.
"I'm not; that just sounds stupid."
"It is a good explanation for what happened, I mean, did he actually do anything or…" Baby Sea's voice trailed off in a smile as Sea's face got red. "I am done with you."
Baby sea started to cackle.
"I'm going back to sleeping fuck this," Sea said, and he took off his shirt and wandered back into his bedroom with baby Sea following him.
"Can I sleep with you?"
Sea turned around, "Why are you asking it like that? You are making it weird." Sea turned back and around and hopped onto his bed. "Come here."
Baby Sea smiled, and he got into bed with his brother.
"If you kick me, YOU'RE DONE."
