John was in the classroom when someone entered it looking for him. Akeno walked inside. "Jackson, is it possible for you to come with me during lunch. My club president wishes to speak with you." Akeno asked John, making him look her up and down before speaking to her.
"Sure, I have no problem visiting your club, Mrs. Himejima," John said, making her eyes flash for a moment, as she didn't think he knew about her. Akeno smiled and nodded as she walked away before speaking.
"I will come get you when lunch starts," Akeno said before leaving the room, and John chuckled as he looked out the window. Things were starting to move towards the plot of High School DxD, but things have changed slightly. I took Rias's interest over Issei, which is a good thing, after all, that guy wasn't a very good Mc.
To John, Issei half-assed things and rarely went through with his desire out of cowardice. But John wasn't like that; this is why Issei will lose everything he holds dear. He is a loser who doesn't know how to get what he wants. There is a saying: "The early bird gets the worm." That is a fact in everything in life.
Mrs. Tanaka walked into the classroom looking sad, as if she had been crying all night. John smirked a little. Seeing her like this meant his plan for her had entered the final stage, and she would be ready this evening.
She started class even though she was going through things at the time, which made John think highly of her. The day went on, and lunch started. It wasn't even a minute since the bell to start lunch went off when Akeno walked into the room.
"John, I am here to get you," Akeno said with a smile, making John stand up and follow suit. Mikami looked at him, leaving with a complicated look on her face as she bit her lip before she headed to their club room.
John walked behind Akeno, looking at her ass and smiling as he spoke. "Can I know what the great Rias Gremory desires from me?" John asked, making Akeno look back, and she smiled as she spoke.
"You know our club president?" Akeno asked.
"Who doesn't know the two beauties of this school, Akeno Himejima and Rias Gremory. I would be a fool not to know of you two. Knowledge is power, and I make it a habit to know people of talent." John said, making Akeno smile as she thought to herself.
This man piqued her interest because he was able to compose himself better than the boys in school. It set him apart from the rest, as almost every single boy in school would be tripping over their words talking to her right now. She could now see why Rias wanted to talk to him.
"I don't know what she wants to talk about; she just asked me to come get you during lunch," Akeno said as they stopped in front of the Occult Research club, and Akeno knocked on the door.
"Come in, Akeno," Rias said. Akeno opened the door and walked in as John followed her. Akeno closed the door, and Rias spoke.
"Come take a seat, Jackson," Rias said, standing up, making John raise an eyebrow before walking towards her and taking a seat across from the redhead. Akeno began pouring tea as Rias spoke.
"John, thank you for coming. I know it's short notice, but I want to get to know you. After all, you belong to the wealthiest family on Earth, so what woman wouldn't want to have a connection to it?" She said, but John could tell that was a front. Rias wasn't a woman who cared that much about money.
"Is that all? If so, then I would have overestimated you, Rias Gremory." John said, picking up the teacup, with a hint of disgust at the words she had spoken, making her eyes light up for a moment. She didn't think a man would be so indifferent to her flirtation, and this intrigued her. Rias chuckled and picked up the teacup as she spoke.
"It wasn't the main reason. I wanted to ask if you need anything. If you make a deal with me, I am sure I can help you fulfill it." She said before taking a sip. John smiled, so she wanted his soul. Making a deal with him would help her on Earth. So that was what she was after.
"My dear, Mrs. Gremory. You wouldn't be able to help fulfill my wishes and desires; you shouldn't try." John said, taking a sip, making her look at the man, as she smiled and spoke.
"I am sure I can help you complete them; you would be surprised at what I can do." She said, before putting the teacup down and looking at John with resolve in her eyes. John wasn't a fool and could see it, making him sigh as he set the teacup down before speaking to her.
"Let me put it this way, I am rich. So all my desires and wishes are far more twisted than normal, as I already have all that I need. The rest would be wicked desires, and are you willing to step into the domain?" John said, making her eyes light up. Most men aren't that forward with her; they want to get on her good side.
"Oh, I am sure they can't be that bad, you seem like a good man, John," Rias said with a smile, but John couldn't help but chuckle as he leaned forward.
"Rias, don't tempt the devil inside me, you may end up enjoying it far more than you thought you would." He said, standing up as he finished drinking the tea, before speaking again.
"I will think about your offer, but don't hate me for using it for something you didn't think I would," John said before nodding to the two of them as he stood up and walked towards the door, about to leave. The way John acted made both Akeno and Rias look at him way more favorably. It showed he wasn't greedy and had a different side they couldn't read about.
"Is it okay if I give you my phone number, just in case?" Rias said, making John stop and smile while his back was turned, before turning around and nodding. John pulled out his phone and handed it to Akeno, who passed it to Rias, who entered her phone number.
As Akeno was walking back, she stopped in front of John and spoke. "I will put my number in, too, just in case you can't get a hold of Rias. Or you want to go on a date, either one." She said, handing John's cellphone back with a seductive voice and a smile. John couldn't help but smirk as he nodded.
Leaving the room as the two watched him close the door. "Oh, I think I like him. You don't mind if I date him, Rias?" Akeno said, placing a hand on her cheek as she smiled, with her eyes closed. Rias rolled her eyes before speaking.
"We don't even know if he likes you, after all, I don't lose to you in looks," Rias said it in jest, but also somewhat honestly, as she enjoyed her talk with John. It showed her that he wasn't greedy, as most people give in to her tempting words, which is part of her power as a devil.
This fact was something John hadn't noticed: the whisper of the devil doesn't affect him. When they speak or ask people if they want to make a deal, their voices make people give in to their desires to an extent. Rias didn't realize John was immune to it and took it for his kind nature. Was the reason he didn't try making a deal with her.
But she didn't know his true nature was being hidden from her, and the more she got closer to him, the more she would fall. "Well, I think I found the person to entertain me this year," Rias said as she stood up, picking up Issei's folder and throwing it into the trash.
She had thought that boy was a little interesting, but John was far better than him. John didn't know that this meeting would break any feelings Rias had or would have gotten from Issei.
Returning to class as the end of lunch rang out, John sighed as he hadn't gotten a chance to eat. But that's fine; he will be eating his teacher this evening, so a little fasting won't hurt him. John thought with a wicked smirk before entering the classroom and taking his seat.
