Fei Xiao said without looking back, her voice filled with certainty.
The two girls finally closed their mouths, which had hung open in shock. Only now did they snap back to reality; the scene they had just witnessed was as cognitively jarring as Hydreigon's appearance. However, Meng Xi didn't flee immediately upon hearing the command.
Fei Xiao seemed to have anticipated this and continued, "Staying here will only hold me back. I can't spare the energy to protect—"
Before she could finish, a flash of fire appeared amidst the dust as a stream of flames shot toward them once more.
Fei Xiao reached into the air, and a gunblade materialized in her hand.
With a swing of her blade, a Wind Blade met the flames head-on, instantly slashing them apart and triggering a violent explosion.
"Run!!"
They glanced at each other and then quickly hurried away.
However, they only ended up hiding behind a distant rock, peeking out to watch Fei Xiao's battlefield. Clearly, even though Fei Xiao seemed powerful, they were still incredibly worried about her.
Fei Xiao naturally noticed their actions and felt a warmth in her heart, but she quickly refocused her attention ahead.
"Roar!!!"
Hydreigon rose again, completely enraged this time, making no effort to hide its fury.
At its roar, debris flew everywhere. The two hiding in the distance could feel its hatred; they had to hug each other just to stop their bodies from trembling.

She raised her hand to summon another gunblade. Holding dual blades, she pushed off with her feet and charged directly into the fray.
The two cold, glinting blades collided with the ferocious dragon, producing a world-shaking boom. In an instant, a powerful force surged out like a tidal wave, kicking up a wall of dust several meters high.
The massive impact sent out a powerful shockwave. Meng Xi was the first to react, scooping up Fletchinder with one hand and grabbing her friend—who seemed to be holding up her phone for some reason—with the other, before bolting away.

Just like her bow before, every movement was etched into her mind, ready to be used at will.
Fei Xiao had already tasted the thrill of power. A burning battle intent rose in her teal eyes; at this moment, her heart yearned for a hearty, all-out fight.
Watching the two sides prepare for battle, the two observers felt a strange mix of excitement and worry.

As the blades swept past, leaving faint red trails, Hydreigon roared in pain. Its left and right heads then lunged forward, trying to Bite Fei Xiao.
Fei Xiao nimbly retracted her blades, reacting quickly to block the two heads with her weapons.
The two sides were locked in a stalemate of strength for a moment. Fei Xiao parried with both hands, preparing to push the opponent away in one go, when a sudden sensation of paralysis surged from her hands, causing her movements to stiffen.
Lightning flickered from Hydreigon's two side heads. Using Thunder Fang, it bit down hard on the blades, preventing her from withdrawing her weapons.
The electric current surged through the weapons into Fei Xiao's body. She felt her body seize up as the powerful electricity relentlessly coursed through her.
"Ah!!!"
A sharp pain hit her, and Fei Xiao's expression twisted in agony as she couldn't help but cry out. She tried to pull back her blades, but the opponent held on with such force that she couldn't break free.
Suddenly, a purple light reflected off Fei Xiao's face. Sensing a powerful aura, she snapped her head up.
While maintaining the Thunder Fang, Hydreigon's main head had already fully charged a Dragon Pulse.
Fei Xiao could feel that if she took this hit head-on at such a close range, even she wouldn't survive.
At that moment, the terrifying energy stored in its mouth poured out instantly—a point-blank Dragon Pulse was fired.
The two observers were struck with horror at the sight, their concern bursting out involuntarily.
