The man fell unconscious.
Ryan looked at her in surprise.
"You're getting dangerous."

Ryan gave a faint, impressed smile.
"Looks like it follows you too."
A Sudden Kidnapping
They finally reached the underground parking garage.
Ryan's black car waited near the exit.
Relief washed over Meherin.
"We made it…"
But the moment they stepped closer—
A black van screeched into the garage.
Four armed men jumped out.
Ryan cursed under his breath.
"Daniel."
The attackers opened fire.
Ryan pulled Meherin behind a car.
Bullets shattered windows and echoed through the garage.

There was a pause.
Then his final words:
"And if anyone gets in my way…"

Meherin slowly opened her eyes.
Her head was spinning.
She was tied to a chair inside a dark warehouse.
Footsteps echoed in the shadows.
Then a man stepped forward.
Calm.

Smiling.
Daniel.
He studied her carefully.

Meherin glared at him.
"You're insane if you think he'll let you get away with this."
Daniel chuckled.
